Until 2023 summer. 12M a year contract. X 3 . 36M €

He's got half basically. 18M€. 18M still up. This guy will sit out his contract like Spallo 10000% and never take a job

Tactically inept FRAUD! by the time he decides to do something it’ll be already too late. That’s the problem with these win now types, it never feels like a genuine attempt to build something. At this point I’m inclined to believe this guy will not find the balance needed or change to find the balance needed for this team. We all know the inevitable, we just don’t know when...

I dont wanna see us having to pay him if he's sacked.

Fixed. I agree we will pay Conte till the end of his contract. There's no chance any team will offer him anywhere near his current salary.

"Anyone who is losing a game will make changes and throw everything forward. That makes it more difficult to read the game and the plans all go out the window."

Ya okay, dude. Stop acting like you know how to read the game.

Wtf? So this was the explanation by Conte we conceded? Has this guy never heard of preparations? Prepare for different situations like what we're gonna do when we score and they change something. What we're gonna do when they score and we need to change something etc.

This sounds like a basic stuff but I don't know what these explanations are by a supposedly top coach.

Again an amateur goal conceded today. He NEEDS to change our setup. Our defence is getting burnt way too easily. If they can't react to Miranchuk taking a poor touch to a pass, in our box, and they still let him take a shot, we need to change things. Our setup is just fucking wrong.

We deserved mostly a point from that match and that's already wrong. After their goal, it was only Atalanta on the pitch, we needed to defend the 1-1 draw like our life depends on it, we couldn't do shit.

I haven't checked the Inter main, but he actually said this? I just watched the game and went off to angrily do chores. He's lucky Muriel didn't fuck us in the end with the misplaced diving header, but did he really say this?

I hope to god, Zhang and Conte made a gentleman’s agreement that he resigns if he doesn’t win serie A. Along with this all the old players he signed will set us back 2-3 years.

We are really in a pretty fucked situation with Conte. He obviously isn’t getting results, we are playing decent at times but we struggle in both or defensive third and the final third. We have good players in the squad we can’t get the most out of and an odd infatuation with some other shit players. We’ve brought in players to fit the formation while passing on young talent that could have been assets for our squad. We’ve also got golden handcuffs because we are paying this man 12 million a year, he won’t quit and we won’t fire him. That much became obvious in the summer when we bent over backwards to satisfy him.

So now what? I feel like it’s still early to consider a sacking but man I’m starting to think this is going to be a tough season. I can see what Conte wants to do but I don’t think we have all the players to execute it and that’s half down to him requesting old guys who can barely run anymore like Kolarov and Vidal while relying on players like D’Ambrosio and Gagliardini. He is a good coach but letting him control our transfer decisions was terrible, he literally can’t be saved from himself. It’s not uncommon amongst good tactical coaches even Mourinho has made questionable transfer requests, the difference was back then we said no and bought better alternatives and Mourinho didn’t threaten to quit when we did.

Now the guy is all Kumbaya in the media because even he knows he can’t complain. He literally made this bed and held our feet to the fire to do it. I still feel like he hasn’t lost the dressing room, and this is just such a odd season it’s tough to say if the results are all his fault or if there are some extenuating circumstances. Every team that finished late last season has had some sketchy results early this season. We could easily turn it around and have a strong 2nd half of the season. Or we could finish in 7th, nothing would surprise me.

If you supported his hiring to begin with, you deserve this. All of it.

Only an idiot couldn’t see hiring this Gobbo piece of shit for 12 million a year would bite us in the ass, hard.

As a fool who thought the hire was correct, I am sorry. It looked promising after the end of last year. Some of the incoming players looked good, others were ..wtf? We have been unlucky in some instances and sometimes it's totally on the players. However, the lack or stubbornness to change the personnel and alter tactics has been truly awful and borders on incompetence. By the by today he did get the back three right.

You're gonna have to do better than this to get the sack bro. Might I suggest a 6-3-1 with Barella as striker and Lukaku on goal?

Before sacking Conte and facing big financial consequences, I'd rather try a cheaper option by replacing Handanovic with a more capable keeper who can save the couple of shots that we get every match.

Agree almost everything apart from the locker room.

I'm not sure anymore if there is complete trust within everyone. Our performances our so poor. Our football is just fucking trash. We have a super expensive squad, a super expensive coach and we produce absolute garbage football. And it's not like it's the first season, everyone is just getting to know each other. This squad has been together for over an year now. We play worse than we did last season.

It starts to feel the "re-marriage" we made with Conte on that Black Tuesday was a super lame and dull. Restricted with a financial reasons, neither side wanted the divorce so continuing the marriage was the only way to go. And now Conte is not in it for 100% anymore. The fire seems to be gone. He doesn't get almost anything out of the squad compared to the quality and potential there is to be taken out of. There's no balance, no unitiy. We concede goals in every fucking match because there's no cohesion and trust between the players.

Argh, I'd say even one big win MIGHT change this but it needs to come soon, because it's not far we gonna start spiraling down.

Either we overachieved last season or we are underperforming this season.

And it's all because of Conte.

I don't care. I'd sack Marotta first and get rid of his wages and promote Ausi and then fire Cone and replace him with someone like Cambiasso and invest heavily in younger playerss.
