Look at Juventus with Pirlo. Bringing in someone with no top-level experience when the ship is sinking is a recipe for disaster. You need a steady hand that players will trust.

By no means was I implying we should keep Conte (or Marotta), I just think hiring a coach with literally zero experience is a terrible idea, as a certain team is proving right now. For a low cost option we could go for someone like De Zerbi who actually has a decent resume.

Seriously, EVERY coach needs patient, no matter who. Ofc I can't be so sure whether trophies will come if we keep Conte, but I am 101% sure sacking him leads to nothing. Because we have used the last penny of our budget on 3 coaches with 50m tally instead of players.
