I thought he had a good cameo against Roma. Although I've been reading elsewhere people may not agree. I thought his passing was simple and crisp and he had a big hand in the lead up to the goal. He combined better with Banega than Joao Mario did on the day.

I think he's perfect for the role he's been playing in the team, which is to come off the bench in Serie A and maybe start the odd EL game.

I thought that he had a fine game too. I would like to see him with both J.Mario and Banega on the pitch. He adds more than Medel to our attacking game atleast due to his passing, specially in a 3-man midfield.

Yeah, I think in games against some of the smaller teams and especially at home, Gnou in place of Medel wouldn't be the worst idea. He isn't too bad defensively, and his passing will help quicken the tempo and get the ball moving which is vital in trying to break sides down.

His best game imo here was against Bologna, completely changed our play in midfield and showed all what Kondogbia can't do.

but in neither case was he a DM. I don't see any reason to give him a different role. He seems fine as a CM and hopefully will grow to become more influential in games like Benassi is slowly doing.

Trust me when I say I would never expect him to become the level of Motta who Imo is one of our most underrated players of all time. Everywhere he played he was underrated including PSG where I think verratti blossomed because of Motta. When he left us we lost balance big time. Regardless goku has great clamness on the ball like motta and good passing but he is a long way from motta who has great positioning and he knew when to make runs and what spaces to cover.
