Look, Tuchel behave is correct. He's just defending his club.

Players must respect the papers. You want to leave? I must find an equal substitute or you fucking play for the club until the last day.

It's better our behaviour? Our club in the past years sold half team without telling it to the coach, who discovered it by reading the newspaper.
As far as I know, Pavard doesn't want to leave since yesterday. They had a full summer to resolve this problem.

I have no idea what you said

How so? Well then, sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

My point was that Pavard has guaranteed Inter that he'll join the club, whether it is now, or when his contract with Bayern expires.

Then another point was that it makes zero sense to keep a player whom is forcing a transfer out. There's a huge offer at the table for Pavard (despite on his last year of contract) that cannot be ignored. In usual, Bayern is known for making smart moves in transfer market, so I doubt they will be stupid enough to keep him at this point (considering how things went over the past week).

I get your points but let me be a little pessimistic.

It makes absolute zero sense for Samardzic to refuse Inter and stay at Udinese either. In terms of either salary or career path. But he is still doing so, and just assists.

The Bayern current management is not as good as they were. Imagine sacking Nagelsmann and got demolished in Champions League.

Plus I dont trust players anymore. No matter how much one says, if Arabs or PSG knocking tripple salary on the door he would forget immediately who Inter is. Simple as that.

I mean, unless it becomes official, anything can happen but you cannot compard a player of Pavard's calibre with Samardzic for example (and that involves people around, like agents, clubs and ect). Samardzic's father was being a bum, and because of his ignorance now his son will have to pay the consequences. There's so many different examples on how deal has collapsed at the very end but I don't see it happening with Pavard for example.

It may collapse due to Bayern's stubborness to let him go, but if you look a whole picture then Pavard has done almost everything to make this go through quicker. He has ruined his relationship with Bayern, fans and it's only Tuchel whom is insisting.

Of course Bayern's management have shown stupidity to sack Nagelsmann in the most critical part of the season but problem was bigger than what we know.

I don't trust players either, but situation is pretty obvious at this point. Then again, this might even collapse but it's likely to happen because I still believe Bayern will let him go and they will give Tuchel another solution. He has no other choice but to give up. In the last interview he even mentioned that Pavard is pushing hard to join Inter, something which didn't happen in earlier reports.

Let's see what happens in the next 24/48 hours.

The issue here is apparently that Salihamidžić management promised Pavard will get his move this summer. But Salihamidžić got sacked and the new management started in the summer.

Apparently somehow Pavard agent didn't catch up and inform the new management about the promises OR the new management just didn't want to consider these promises. Of course, one problem for them is that after Walker-Pavard "swap" failed when Walker move didn't happen, Inter came very late for Pavard. Season already started.

But IMO of this should have come as a surprise to Bayern management. If it did, they haven't done their job properly when taking over from the old management.

The situation makes perfect sense. Of course the management (who are concerned with financials) would rather get a substantial transfer fee than nothing for a player who has no intention of renewing and doesn’t want to be there. Tuchel does not care about this and is only concerned about the sporting aspect and obtaining results so why would he want to part with one of his best defenders only days before the end of the transfer window when there isn’t someone who convinces him lined up to take Pavard’s spot. Management has the final say, but will they go forward with the sale knowing it will piss off the manager? We’ll see; it’s a tricky situation.

The real mistake was inter waiting so long to put up the money up for this deal. We could have closed this the day Onana was sold but instead we had to fuck around with Lukaku, Balogun, Samardzic— all less important than having a reliable starting CB to replace Skriniar.

> Bayern finally procure a replacement for Pavard in the form of Chalobah
> Pavard finally gets the green light and boards this mythical PJ
> at 30,000ft in the air it’s discovered that Chalobah failed his Bayern medical cos he’s a fuckhead
> Tuchel scrambles the F22-Raptors straight outta NORAD

tbh, if we use the money to sign someone like schuurs and then get him for free next year its not the worst thing in the world.

we will loan Tanganga and money will be gone

Don't have one.

Yeah, but the number of big L we had this mercato is already pushing limits with the majority of fans. If we don't bring him now, no amount of practical thinking like bringing him for free next year will soothe the fans, and rightfully so.

"I'm quite confident that we will find a solution in the last few days of the transfer window"

For me it says they will let him come to us in the last days.

My source says they are offering him a contract extension.

Agreed but there are no guarantees Pavard will wait for us and he will likely have better offers on the table next summer. It makes sense for someone in our situation to buy a promising young defender now and get Pavard on a free, but it’s far from a given that it could happen that way. The player wants to move now and we should do everything to make it happen now if we can.
