One thing that worries me is how leaky our defense has been lately. 8 goals conceded in the least 4 games. We need to plug it up.

That certainly has to do with how shit our midfield is... Tired Brozo and useless Gagliardini make for a leaky defense, no way around it.

I wonder if scoring in serie a is on the up. 10 goals against seems high, but it's only one more than Juve who are second to Verona for least goals conceded.

Federico Santander dominated our backline last year which was the main reason for signing Godin. Need 3 bodies on that fucker.

Santander aka this guy who does nothing against big teams but scorees against Inter. Even hited the post against Juve, fuck him.

Juve won at least another two games like the one last night.

Some naive soul would think it is luck...

The hard work that new Inter fitness coach Antonio Pintus put the team through during the course of pre-season appears to be baring fruit now.As per Serie A statistics, Inter are the team to have covered the most ground per match on average after the first 10 league games this season. Inter cover 110.431 kilometres on average, Lecce are second with 108.951 kilometres and Brescia in third with 108.772 kilometres.Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic covers the most ground of any player on average. The 26-year-old Croatian runs on average, 12.645 kilometres per match. Inter linked Parma star Dejan Kulusevski covers the second most with 11.763 kilometres and Fiorentina’s Erick Pulgar covers third most with 11.747 kilometres.

Мaybe that is the reason why whole team looks tired.

Well, Pintus "punishes" players who don't meet their kilometer quotas during games by making them run whatever km the owe the next day
It probably got into their system to try and run as much as possible during the game to avoid screwing a rest dat :D

Sensi and Vecino are back in the squad, but are they ready to play?

Could not care less about Vecino, but Sensi probably has at least 20-25 solid minutes in him, enough to make a pass or two, or even get lucky and get to take a free kick

Biraghi time :awyeah:

People were too caught up over his first match and assist against Lazio. That happened to coincide with Asamoah playing poorly against juve and getting run ragged by Messi for 15 minutes, and a lot of people were saying they preferred Biraghi. Then the guy was a disaster against Sassuolo and Parma.

I don't know what people expected from Biraghi or what level they thought he'd be, but there's a reason he's a backup and costs just €12m at 27 years old. That said, he's much better than his recent games have shown and I hope he proves that starting from tomorrow.

Both he and Asamoah are good LB's. Neither are spectacular, but both solid. Biraghi has a more astute crossing game, but Asamoah is better rounded, fitter, faster and is much more comfortable in the WB role IMO. He's a big loss for us and I really hope he's not out for long.

I have a nasty feeling we might lose this 2-1, but I'll be positive and say another 1-2 win for us. It's about fucking time a defender scored for us so I'll say goals from De Vrij and Lukaku for us, and a Bologna goal from Palacio (obviously.) Or Santander. He seems quite strong in the air.

Oh, and I would not risk Sensi, even for 10 minutes, unless 2 of our midfielders get injured or something. Absolutely not taking that chance.

Conte on the injured players:

“Vecino trained with the group yesterday, and Ranocchia also rejoined the group. Sensi should take part in today’s training, we will need to wait regarding Sanchez. D’Ambrosio is training, it depends on his sensitivity and his own pain management, but we’re confident that we’ll have him back soon.”

It's more a matter of when Sensi is ready to return. Standard protocol is that a player's first game back is in a sub role for 20-25 minutes. If he's ready to do that, then give him some burn on Saturday because then he figures to be available for longer against Dortmund. If he's either not available or we don't use him, we kick that can down the road and now it's the Dortmund game where the most we can ask for is 20-25 off the bench.

Don't play him if it's a legitimate injury risk, of course. That's what needs to be determined still.

Bologna is the type of teams Lukaku is capable of scoring against, I dont expect anything less than 1 goal in his name.
