Just finished watching the match. A few thoughts:

1) Really enjoying watching Lautaro lead the line so far. He looks like a natural leader and someone who can be a true number nine.
2) I'm happy with how Thuram is playing. Beautiful assist on his ball to Dumfries (and an even better finish).
3) Speaking of Dumfries, that's one assist and one goal through two games. Cuadrado isn't benching him any time soon.

Nice performance in a difficult fixture. Nandez also played really well for Cagliari

The only complaint I have is that Fratessi isn't playing more minutes.

Not a really big or real complaint to be fair. But he gives me the impression that he will score at least 6/7 goals this season, the way he moves and acts whenever he puts himself very intelligently in a situation to score or assist.

Season is long though. But it's good so far. We are winning games in a way that the winner of the serie a wins games. Not too flashy, not too overwhelming. Just a solid win. No surprises.

Also Lautaros composure on his goal... Lol, didn't expect that to be a goal for him, if I'm being super honest.

Prick was super aggressive and seemed ultra motivated, probably to show that we made a mistake when we didn't sign him when he was rumored to join us some years ago.
Now watch him turn into a pussy against the likes of rube and bilan.

Still want him here. He would be playing a lot at Inter and he isn't even that good in attack, just like Dumfries

He was quite average tbh. That youngster Luvumbo looked like a threat because of his explosiveness and ability to outplay opponents but he had no support from teammates.

Things have gotten easier once Pavoletti went out. Otherwise not so much else to be said. Cagliari never stood a chance though.

In Cagliari even the retarded are retarded.
Ps: Don't watch this website only if you have the stomach for it.

Great first half, terrible second.

I’m giving my MOTM to Calhanoglu whose defensive contribution was significant, especially in the second half when most of his teammates turned into clowns.

Also after just two games it’s apparent to me that we’re going to lose (or have already lost) a lot of the ability to play out the back. Onana was an expert in cutting out the front line of pressing with his ability to accurately find the wingbacks and midfielders with perfectly weighted passes. Sommer is not so reliable in that regard.

Add to that Calhanoglu is less patient than Brozovic in buildup and you've got a situation where we effectively need to start building up from higher up the pitch. Not ideal but hopefully Pavard and Sommer settling in more will help.

So far the best thing is the clean sheets, hopefully it continues in upcoming big games as well.
That last save by Sommer deserves a lot of praise to that.

In terms of possession play he's not the best, but on the line he's a beast.

Thuram also was great. Toro needs to adjust to that. Now he's the point in attack. So far he's doing good in it.

Dumfries seems so hopeless at times but delivers at the same time. Cuntdrado might be better when we have to score though.
