Guys, it's sure about Cech if he'll miss the second match against us for sure or not? I'm really curious to know this, since it's very very important for all us. I would be very happy if Cech will miss the second leg, because it will earn much chances for us to qualify.. Hilario is crap!!

But even if Cech will miss, I doubt that Hilario will be first goalkeeper against us, since he had poor performance against ManCity.. i hope that I'll see Hilario in Chelsea's goal against us :D:D

I'm having more prayers for Essien not to recover in time, Cech is 2nd in my list.

I hope that Eto'o will not start, and I don't know if he will get even some minutes because he don't more than average player in the squad, and for qualify to Quarter final we need our best players, and he our worst striker except for Arna.

So, Milito and Pandev need start, Balotelli maybe instead Pandev but I think Pandev better than him. Eto'o is not option. and if Milito & Pandev will start I think the sub will be Mario if we are in draw/lose, maybe Eto'o if we are on lead.

And for all who say Eto'o is player for CL, I don't believe. if Eto'o does'nt can to break the defences of Viola, Samp and other average teams in Serie A, he will fail against Chelsea. he won't become to good striker if he will hear CL anthem.

Eto'o is vital in these type of games due to his work rate. None of our others strikers put in the defensive shift he does and in hard away games that can be crucial.

Eto'o should definitely start this match. We need his work rate to absorb Chelsea's rush in the beginning of the match. Balotelli is a perfect sub for a match like this.

The only striker that "needs to start" is Milito.
Eto'o, Pandev and to a lesser extent Balo have reasonable reasons to start. One option would be to play a 4-3-2-1 with Pandev further back to take some pressure off Sneijder. Plus we would flood the MF.

Article suggesting that Essien will be out for the season.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/engla...lose-michael-essien-for-rest-of-season-report

Its a huge boost for us if he's out. Mikel is good, but not Essien good. I really don't think we could've handled a fired up Essien. Then again, its from The Sun newspaper and they've only quoted an unnamed source. Could all be a ploy by the club to surprise Mou.

If only Drogba can catch the flu or something.

That's great for us. Even if those reports are not true I don't think he'll be ready for Inter. He's still not training I think so it looks unlikely.
Without him we probably can hold their midfield decently and Sneijder will have more freedom. Now, if only we could stop Drogba we will win.

About Eto'o, I think that we need him as a starter regardless of how he's been playing lately, his experience and workrate are unmatched in our team and I still believe in him.

I am happy that he won't play against us but I am sad for him because he's one of my favorite players.

It's written by The sun, but whatever. Hope they are right about it.
No essien, no cole, no bosingwa, no cech. Maybe no Zhirkov.

Hopefuly Terry will continue his performance of awesomeness.

If I'd be Jose Mourinho, I'd definitely put Muntari on the pitch. With Terrys problems at the moment, there is a big chance he will not diffrentiate Muntari from Essien.

Yer Essien missing the game is their biggest loss. As far as Eto'o starting unless he at least scores 1 goal in our next 2 serie a games he can not start

I don't think Essien will make it. on official chelsea site Ray Wilkins said essien had suffered a further setback - and is still in france...so I seriously doubt he will be ready in 9 days....especially with no training or nothing.

Not heard any update of Cech yet - just hope he is out though :D.

So bosingwa, essien, cole defo out
Cech maybe....

lets hope drogba can pick up a small injury vs stoke!

the way i see it and many ppl agree with me is, etoo should start because he has the workrate for these kind of matches, hes faster and more troublesome to chelsea than any of our other forwards (except milito) in papers.

but sadly he hasnt been himself lately, his performance is poor and no up to his barca days

anyway i prefer to go with etoo
