There was just held an updating press conference, where it was said that the national team had a FaceTime session with CE, CE telling them he feels like he could just go out and play/train, then CE also asked the boys how are you guys feeling?....

CE is a top notch player, and even a bigger person 100% love and respect from here!!! ❤️

BBC saying official diagnosis is cardiac arrest. I wonder if they found what caused it, cus it would almost be better for him and his career, if there is any chance of him returning, to know exactly what happened then to just have the heart randomly stopped on your diagnosis.

I know nothing about heart problems, but I think it's kinda strange that they still haven't figured out what caused it.

Some jerks said it was because of a Corona vaccination - although Eriksen isn't vaccinated yet. God, there are such idiots in the world.

Serie A has super strict rules about players who have had heart attacks right?

I read in instances when they don't find anything unusual through regular testing they go for genetic testing to see if there is any genetic predispositions to heart attacks, heart diseases etc...

Those tests take longer but if they found anything there he will one hundred percent retire.

No one knows if he will retire or not, it's all speculation at this point.

Second of all regardless of past tests or if tests right now show nothing, the main concern is to see if the cardiac arrest caused any damage, which by the looks of the updates of his condition doesn't seem that it did thankfully, second of all why to see why he suffered it, if its a heart or neurological issue. This might take time till they figure it out.

I personally am optimistic that his issue will get resolved.

If he decides to stop I'm sure it will be thoroughly thought out decision, not unlike his play style.

No skin in the game on my part as long as he is alive and safe.

I have been following him since he moved to Spurs (I followed them already cuz I adored Modric and Bale, then Poch). Before that I saw his name on football manager. I love players who play with both feet, and felt genuine joy and surprise when he arrived at Inter--I'm really satisfied that I experienced that.

I'm sure he'll have a great life whatever decision he has to make. And Inter should celebrate for having him as their player.

I want what's best for him, whether he retires or not. Should he leave the game as a player at least he'll go out as a champion.

In the prime news on danish TV a heart specialist doctor, said she has not been involved with the specific CE case, however from her experience in this field, and from similar cases she said there is significant chance for a full recovery( meaning football is still possible )...❤️❤️❤️

That’s at least giving some hope... I hope she is right.

I really hope he retires. Whatever that was, it could happen again... and nothing is worth that risk.

There are a lot of things in life that are way more important than football. I would totally hate seeing him back on the pitch and risking his life every game

I cant believe that people in here hope he retires. Of course I hope he comes back even stronger as an inspiration for others.

It could be caused by stress and by that just sheer physical stress of basically playing 1.5 seasons worth of football with a 2/3 week break max then showing up to do the euros.

More so since the reports are that they’re struggling to find the underlying cause (for now).

They need to do their all to find what caused it. Otherwise I don't think it's wise for Eriksen to continue playing even if he recovers fully. They need to find the reason so they can see the reason earlier if possible.

Just hope he's wise enough, to think first of his own health, what is best for his family and lastly football. Best wishes whatever he and his family do in the future.

He should do what he loves. If it means playing football then I'd enjoy him thrive under Inzaghi.
