We have relatively easy way to the final this time. Fiorentina, and Atalanta or Milan for the semis.

I predict it will be Inter vs Roma in the Final.

Assuming Roma beats Lazio, they have to beat Juve/Napoli to get to the final. Not happening.

Good start for Retegui in Italy. 2 goals and an assist in their victory against Modena. Granted it’s against a Serie B side but still.

Maybe if Lukaku's betrayal happened earlier we could have gotten Retegui, but now it's too late.
It will be painful if he scores constantly for Genoa.

We have a good relationship with Genoa. If the kid is any good (I don't think he is) we'll be able to grab him from them next summer at a premium.

I have a feeling our management has had discussions with Genoa about this. I believe we were interested in him but the price was much higher. Then Genoa got him for less money. Like mentioned, Genoa are one of the clubs that we generally do good deals with.

The kid is 24 years old. 2 years younger than Lautaro and Thuram. Not that kid anymore.

Bologna is a very tricky opponent, I'm sure we'll play with our starting 11 against them.

The fact that Motta made Bologna an opponent to be worried of deserves respect.
Even though in the matches that he has played against us , bologna has just defended and had some good counters. I am not sure if in matches with opponents of their level Bologna is actually displaying attacking football and controlling the game

I went to see the results from last season.

They have really good results against bigger teams, but mostly only at home: won against Fiora and Inter, draw to Juve, Milan, Napoli and Roma, won Sassuolo 3-0, won Torino and Udinese. The other positive results were winning against Lecce and Spezia, everything else was a draw or loss against smaller sides.

Away: won against Atalanta, Fiorentina, drew against Sassuolo. The other wins are against Udinese, Sampdoria, Monza, Lecce and Cremonese.

You would expect they would have better results against smaller teams, we'll see this season if they finish higher. They were 9th last season.

This season they lost against Milan and drew against Inter, Sassuolo, Juve and Napoli. So I guess they are still a torn in bigger sides
