It's far from over now. Still a tough second half to be played, and we need to improve and grab another goal to secure the game.

As for the goal, silly foul conceded by Samuel, but Julio should have been better positioned. He was well off his line, I think he could have saved it had he stayed on the line. Nonetheless, it was definitely saveable even considering Julio was off his line; he just hesitated.

How can all of our midfielders - Sneijder, Stankovic, Motta be out at the same time ??

.. Have you seen any replays? Julio could have taken one step to his left and saved it without any real difficulty. Instead he's crouched over like a goon, shuffling over to the far post and the ball just flies over his head, into the middle of the net. The middle. No free kick like that should be a threat when it's not particularly well directed.

Phillipe Coutinho will seem like a diamond find, in place of Alvarez! There is no way he could be as piss poor as that dude!

Naga, Pazzo, Lucio and Zanetti deserve all the praise. Chivu and Samuel are our worst players so far. Alvarez isnt doing really well so far, but isnt as bad as some say either.

Not having a go at you, just dont understand why people are defending Alvarez when he's played like crap. If Muntari or Chivu were playing that bad Every 2nd post would be "GTFO Inter"

The reason I'm defending him is (and I'm not having a go either) is that it his first game in a very difficult environment. FIRST game. Muntari has had his chances and has not taken them. Period. The lad is 23 and just starting to adapt to Europe. It's his first game for Inter. Just because he doesn't look like Nasri doesn't mean he is shit. Have some patience. If he is making the same mistakes at the end of this season or next season then I will agree. He hasn't had a great game, but his defensive work has been good. He has worked hard and probably followed Ranieri's insturctions of pressuring them whenever they have the ball.
