I'm going to guess from some of the posts in here, that they don't really watch EPL games, but Santon has been doing very well over the last few months and is looking like a very solid player, even previous to this game.

Although I am very much tempted to say he's just running on a good streak of form, Newcastle fans consider him a solid part of their line-up.

Agreed, he has been solid. Often shows glimpses of class. But nowhere near as some make him to be. Also quite inconsistent, he may play great 50 minutes, makes one simple mistake, and will fade away completely. Still has his mentality issues.

I totally agree.

Why would Milan need him? They have Abate and De Sciglio, both better players.. De Sciglio is even better at LB than he is at RB.

Inter should have kept them. Maybe keeping Balotelli was to difficult, he never really showed a lot of love for Inter. But Santon was/is a very talented guy with a great mentality.

You all only remember him from the Man Utd games. He did nothing worth mentioning afterwards. We sold both Santon and Balo at the highest prices possible, rightfully so. Can't give a damn about their futures

He is laughing for the "great mentality" part i guess. And he is right, Santon has VERY weak mentality. He has the talent to be the best full back in the world, but his mental issues are not behind him, and they are the main reason he is so average.

Ah, I understand. I'm sorry. I meant to say that Santon always did his best. If you compare him with Balotelli. We all know that Balotelli was a lazy guy.

Yeah, he did tried his best, never heard him complaining or something... But he is still too unstable, and tbh, i dont see improvement in that aspect, or very little...

Always starts well, untill he makes even small mistake (s) and starts fading. That's huge problem for him.
