Comparing Giroud salary (5.72 million GBP) with him (9.25 million GBP) drives me crazy. Dispite him, Guroud gets lower salary and he can play 90 minutes.

Most Diverse PosterConsidering how old he was, his numbers were good, he scored a few important goals for us in two seasons.
I can understand that he doesn't have the legs for this level anymore, but compared to Correa, Džeko did A LOT OF WORK for a 37 year old striker. All praise goes to him.

I was wrong on Dzeko and Mki. Wish we would have gotten Dzeko earlier actually.
His wages are insane and we need younger options up top. He wants to play a lot and at best he should be our 4th/5th striker making way way less money.

Retegui is certainly an option, 15m transfer and 3m gross a season in wages (2m net with growth decree) means he would only cost us 6m a year. But I'm honestly not sold on him, 24 year old and still playing in Argentina is not a good sign. Can we afford Dia or someone more proven?

Even at Arsenal he was a bit underrated because he didn't score as many goals as Henry or RVP, but he still has more than 100 goals for Arsenal and also more than 50 goals for France.

Ofc Ibra was a better player and had a looooooooong prime (the Inter-Barca-Milan-PSG era is pretty sick), but Giroud deserves to be mentioned on the same level of Džeko and Aguero. In my opinion, of course.

But Giroud on the same level of Dzeko and Aguero?? What the fuck are your smoking? I happen to know a dude who scored over 100 goals in EPL, over 70 goals for NT, quite a few more in Serie A, he's kinda good with link up plays too. And the dude gets trashed on all the time, let alone being on the same level of Aguero. Yes, I'm talking about Lukaku. And Lukaku's twice the player Giroud's ever been.
The Giroud underrated thingy has been parroted mindlessly by every average football fan for way way too long to the point that Giroud is actually grossly overrated. It's not funny.
