I'm pretty sure his father's name was Acquafresca

His father's name is DrankWater. He is past, Drinkwater is the present.

Happy new year.

I guess James Wilson has had a great night out as this was before kick-off.

Klopp needs to get his Mancini-type half o' season with the old squad and then bring new starters in the summer before we judge him too harshly. West Hams bench was better than Liverpools today.

Leicester just drew 0-0 with 10 man Bournemouth, and Mahrez even missed a penalty for Leicester :yao:

Shit week for them as Arsenal won, Man Utd won, and Man City will probably beat Watford later today.

And that's why Watford are loser team :yao:

I just saw the highlights and it looked like they easily could have won as they squandered so many good chances. Shame as they didn't deserve to lose.

Watford are now 0-7 against teams in the top 6. There a team that should just be happy with not getting relegated though.

Spurs are playing excellent game vs Everton at Goodison park. Completely controlled the game and were unlucky that score is still 1-1.

Btw, Kane's striking technique is fantastic. He generates so much power with precision.

What a fine football Tottenham plays imo Although they scored a beautiful goal, they scored it only after they skipped with a long ball their whole midfield, seemingly the best part of their team imo Alli with boss first touch and a volley :notbad: Everton's was not bad either, also after a long ball :yao:

Dele Alli's goal was awesome. The long ball to him was brilliant, but that control and finish was even better. Tottenham now have the most draw's in the league.

Crazy to think that Man Utd are 5th despite the recent troubles they'd been having. Goes to show that most sides are playing shit this season

Or midtable teams have improved a lot that none of the top teams are capable of going on a run anymore.

PL has lot of good teams but lack top team like Bayern, Barca. Midtable teams have improved very much and every game is a struggle. IMO reason is very top talents either plays for Bayern, Barca or Madrid and tier 2, 3 talents are not so very good or better than the midtable players.

Januzaj scored against Villa, moved to Germany for 4 months, returned to United and still has more goals in the Premier League than Hazard.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has reacted angrily to losing out on the CAF African Footballer of the Year award, saying the decision is "pathetic", "indecent" and "brings shame to Africa".

Toure hit out at his critics in a controversial interview in October, accusing detractors of "spreading bulls***", and has had a number of run-ins with the press in the United Kingdom and his home continent.

The 32-year-old captained the Ivory Coast to their first Africa Cup of Nations triumph since 1992 at the start of last year and was named in the competition's team of the tournament.

But he lost out to Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the individual stakes - voted for by coaches and technical directors - and has now hit out at the decision makers, insisting "even Fifa" would not have reached such a conclusion.

“I’m very, very disappointed," he told Afrique Foot. "It’s sad to see Africa react this way, that they don't think African achievements are important.

“I think this is what brings shame to Africa, because to act in that way is indecent. But what can we do about it? Us Africans, we don’t show that Africa is important in our eyes. We favour more what’s abroad than our own continent. That is pathetic.

“Even Fifa, with all its history of corruption, wouldn’t do this.”

Toure is no stranger to courting controversy in the press and it appears more on the way after he vowed to "tell the truth" when questions come his way.

“Yaya will take care of Yaya and let Africa take care of itself," he added. "As I’ve been told many times, you can’t take care of Africa too much because Africa will be the first to let you down.

“When I return to Europe, a lot of questions will be asked. I think I’m going to have to answer them. As I’m someone who’s honest, I will always tell the truth.”

Was this fool on pills or something?
