After all this talk about PIF ambitious plans for Newcastle and getting linked with the likes of Emery, Favre, Rodgers, etc. they end up with Eddie Howe as the coach.

I see it as a case of get a good manager in now who knows the league, has success(ish) and can stable the ship, get some signings in. Low pay off end of next season and get there real target in when they've developed somewhat of a squad a top manager would want to manage, seriously why any top manager would try and save Newcastle this year is beyond me, Almiron and ASM are there only 2 good players, the rest of the team should be playing championship, Eerste Divisie.. you get the picture.

Ronaldo reminds me off Lukaku with his crying but with Ronaldo it feels personal/hateful with Lukaku you could tell it was frustration with no malice.

I don't know... I always had a huge respect to CR7. His hunger to win is something I always wanted from our players during banter times. People hate him for his selfishness and all that which is fair, but he has always been giving everything for teams he played. There are many players who sometimes allow themselves to act irresponsible on the pitch but with CR7 you can be absolutely sure he will never let you down in this regard.
