Veryyyy good point :star:

lol well it's true, it's just a club bias really. I just think if somethings done illegally, a punishment should be found that would deter it from being done again. Taking money from Chelsea is basically like giving community service for murder in terms of how effective a punishment would be (& yes that's happened before)

I think points deduction/transfer ban is a good idea as Chelsea seem to have no respect for the rules and money is obviously not a problem for them. However, if you do it to Chelsea then it would have to be the same for any other teams who break the rules.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says that he will never be able to match the achievements of Manchester United rival Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Portuguese tactician has had a remarkable impact on English football in the twelve months since he arrived basking in the glory of Porto's UEFA Champions League victory.

Under his astute and inspiring leadership The Blues claimed their first league title for 50 years, as well as defeating Liverpool in the final of the Carling Cup.

Their chances for the coming season again look promising after adding Asier Del Horno and Shaun Wright-Philips to the prodigiously talented ranks at Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho insists that he will not be able to sustain a period of success such as that engineered by Ferguson at Old Trafford.

The Scottish master has won a remarkable 16 trophies during his time at United, including the treble season of 1998-99, and Mourinho does not expect to remain at Chelsea for long enough to emulate such achievements.

"I can't possibly win as much as he has done because I won't stay in England that long and because what he has done is not possible any more in modern football," said Mourinho.

"It is a record only possible in England because it is the only country where a manager can stay for such a long period.

"For him to stay there 19 years is incredible because at a club like Manchester United you can't go three or four seasons without winning trophies.

"But every season for him has been silverware, silverware, silverware.

"I can't do that, but bringing the championship back to Chelsea after 50 years means that, in 30 years' time, if you ask a boy who is 10 now, he will know Jose Mourinho."

hey, well at least he realises he's no SAF & never will be :D

thats your opinion.

I think his already surpassed him. his proved much and caused so much.

SFA needs to get his ass moving and prove he can do something somewhere else without so much money, need i remind you what Mourinho did in the last 3 seasons.

As an achievment its amazing with 2 different teams, and to get the Uefa Cup, then the Champs League (With a team that was not as good as SFA) and doing it so convincingly (unlike the devils in that year)

Lol no point arguing with helal, we know he loves the blues and Crappinho, Ferguson did something absolutely amazing by creating and keeping together a team of giants, and achieving success consistently.

Crappinho won titles in Portugal (big deal!), a Champions League when all his rivals were disappointing, and a Premiership with no rivals at all...

Oh I almost forgot, the fool also managed to insult Liverpool fans during the Carling Cup final almost causing a riot inside the stadium, told lies about Rijkard speaking to refs, and more bullshit only to live up to his reputation of stupid clown.

Comparing Alex with Mourinho is almost like comparing oranges with apples.
Alex has years of experience behind him. So Mourinho has a bit to go. Yet I can easily see him easily overtaking Alex by the time he reaches Fergies age. What upset me though is that people judge him by his attitude and now what he does achieve as a profession. Specially when all these attitude and mind game is only to ease the pressure from his own players. He is way to clever for many, and includes fans and journalists ;)

Yeah, we'll see in 15 years then Ashkan :D

And that kind of mind-games is dirty stuff that I hate, that's why for me Chelsea is the English equivalent of Gobbi.

naah.. please do not compare Chelsea with Gobbi! Chelsea do not play 12 agains 11 in every game ;) they also have a strict doping policy! I'm not a chelsea fan but I do like how Mourinho on purpose gets all the shit (negative / positive attention from media) and let his players do the talking on the picth ;)

They don't do doping but they have this lovely habit of breaking rules and getting fines, which is a big deal for a club who can splash 20 ML pounds for every half-good player available :yuck:

thats the thing, Ferguson won so many titles with a team partly made up of talent that had been trained through the youth academies -> Becks, Giggs, Nevilles, Butt, Scholes... he didn't get given crap loads of cash to splash on whoever came available, he got the team to this level through damn hard work! That's the difference between the two. Hell, give Fergie those funds & United would win every trophy that ever existed.

Comparing Jose Mourinho to Alex Ferguson is like comparing Robinho to Pele, enough said. ;) Helal, even me, your Mourinho-buddy, is shocked when you said that he's surpassed Sir Alex. :D

We Interisti should be the last people on earth to believe that money / funds will bring you trophies! ;) Sure, money does help, but the crucial aspect is what you do with it.

Ashkan, the fact that while we have to face Juve and Milan and all the dodgy people behind them, and Mourinho had to overcome the ruins of Arsenal and Man Utd, is also something you might want to consider.
