couldn't believe CZ didn't get a yellow card for that challenge!

LOL, 2 minutes before he deserved a red card imo and i'd be glad about it cause honestly i dislike seeing CZ playing.

The first half was pretty boring, just a couple of chances for inter, none for Artmedia. I cant believe cruz missed that :depress: . In the second half it got better but we're not playing good. Figo and Samuel had a nice match. I like to see Wome Stankovic worked hard but in the first half he sucked ._. I didnt like Cruz, he seemed without motivation, he just did 1 goal, thats all.

I hope we improve, n fast.

We sucked, what are you guys on?

We played against a team that basically played for a point and defender with plenty of men. We made some wonderful moves, Adriano once again shows his skills and unselfishness with a second assist to Cruz. Figo and Cruz had sitters that they should have easily scored. Deki worked amazingly hard, defense was decent and Walter Samuel looked composed considering he isn't up to full fitness and as for Wome, he has certainly improved since the first time I saw him.

What i am disappointed about the most is that i really thought they would explode after the loss to Palermo...a sign of great team,oh well hopefully against Lecce

Dude read my post properly before commenting like that! What I said was I was in disbelief that CZ got away with the first challenge! Not that I couldn't believe he got a card for the 2nd challenge

everybody played solid, it was a boring game for the players, they should have passed around the ball more after 0-1 and just play off the game with minimum effort to rest themselves, but they were to offensive stupid at times, should´ve calm down like man of match Cristiano Zanetti, take it easy with the ball, cause this game doesnt win us anything...

Some thoughts about the match:
Defense was very good throughout the whole game. Of course Artmedia isn't that strong but our defense played quite good, clearing every situation before it could become dangerous. I think Artmedia only had one real good chance (at the end of 2nd Half) and that was all. Plus we were down to 10men for 35min...

Until the first goal our offense hasn't been that bad either. We were pressing for the first goal and creating some chances and Artmedia rarley came into our half.
For me it didn't look like we were going for another goal after the first one. Number of chances decreases and instead we were playing the ball around in midfield. (don't know why siwnetdeer wants even more of this but maybe as a spectator in the stadium you want to see a little bit more action)
Imo against a team like artmedia you better go for the 2nd goal quickly and finish the match off, so that the team is save if something unexpected happens. (like a red card for a quickly taken free kick for example)

Finally it's 3 points and a clean sheet but offense has to improve much more for the following games.

Ratings:
JULIO CESAR - 7: It's difficult to be concentrated for the whole game if nothing happens but he saved the only dangerous artmedia shoot at end of the 2nd half, so good job from him

CORDOBA - 7: Didn't do much for the offense but as natural CD I didn't expect him to do so. When it comes to defending he was very good as usual.
SAMUEL - 7.5: Much better than in his previous game - had everything under control
MATERAZZI - 7: Good game from him too, made some minor mistakes but nothing serious.
WOME - 6.5: Had some defense problems especially in the first half where he was easily outplayed (run, stop, move to one side and run past him). Was much better in the 2nd half when he was more active in the offense.

FIGO - 7: I think he should stay on the side more often and provide the forwards with more crosses. Was often moving to the center (but later in the game also because of Verons Red card). Still he made a good game and was even applauded by the artmedia fans when he was substituted...
ZANETTI C - 6: Didn't see much of him except the yellow card...
VERON - 5: The 1st yellow card was well deserved and I didn't notice many good moves from him. And there was this unnecessary red card...
STANKOVIC - 7: Disappeared every now and then but when he was involved he made some good passes and clearances plus he set up the goal

CRUZ - 6.5 but only because he made the crucial goal.
ADRIANO - 6.5: He was unlucky with the free kick but a forward of his class should have scored at least once when he had the two chances inside the box...

PIZARRO - No rating because I haven't seen much of him. I only remember when he was trying to dribble past some defenders at the edge of the box instead of simply passing the ball.
MARTINS - Maybe he should have been brought straight after the red card because he would have better for counter-attacks

BTW: Beeing surrounded by hundreds of Artmedia Fans when you are the only one around wearing an Inter jersey is a very 'special' feeling.

Thanks for the summary, helal. I read pretty much on every match review that Figo played well.
I'm ecstatic about Samuel's good performance...some might say that it was Artmedia...but hey, you gotta start somewhere!

Personally i think that Inter should of taken their chances. Adriano and Cruz missed 100% chances, but who cares... WE WON.
C.Zanetti proved that he is a very important part of our team. I liked the way Samuel has settled in. Stankovic was MOM imo.

And i respect everyone's opinion but i just can't understand someone saying CZ is a important part of the team. Anyway... i guess there are lots of different opinions but i hate CZ Like the spanish commentator said "Necesito ver a Zanetti haciendo una buena jugada para justificar su presencia en el campo"

Franco, Switndder is probably the only one here who thinks CZ is better than Cambiasso. He has something agianst Cambiasso, so the opinion is very subjective.
