I don't think Gosens is much better than him in defense. Gosens tends to be indulgent sometimes.

Dimarco's dismal defending is already a well known fact. The video doesn't show one glaring example in 10 minute when he cleared the crossing by heading it to Benfica player in the box. Luckily his shot was straight on Onana. Anyway, Inzaghi was a nutjob to start him instead of Gosens against a strong team which can hurt us on wide area.

Just want to give some appreciation for this guy. His touches from long passes are amazing; there was even one he zoom passes the dude who tries to battle for the first touch. Nice timing and position for defending and the great assist.
This team shows when they put their mind to it, the precision and decision are what made me fall in love with Italian football back then.

Glad that he's doing very well lately. In overall as a team we have improved significiantly over the last few games, something that we should have done way earlier, but it's better late than never. There's still room to recover from the mess we have done, but at least things are going well.

If I had a chance to sell Hakan and Federico at the beginning of the season, I wouldn't even think for a minute. Both have become the most important and indispensable players of the team this season. Bravo...
