It was a pretty decent game tonight. Our 1st goal forced them to open up a bit – hence as a result things became easier for us. Ibra’s goal was class – unlike a certain big/little Brazilian forward of ours they guy is never short of confidence. I’m proud of this team as despite all the injuries and various suspensions we are top of the league and are through to the last 16 as group winners.
It’s also worth mentioning that there seems to be great harmony within the squad – our goal celebrations says it all. It doesn’t matter who scores as after each one everyone genuinely is getting involved in the celebrations.
Being able to rest a few players in our final group game is also a plus.

Finally I have to say that I’m impressed with Fenerbahce yet again. I think with a bit of luck they could beat any top club team out there.

Fantastic post mate. You can clearly tell you have been there through the thinnest of times for inter and are able to appreciate what we have now ash-ley.:star: it pisses me off when these guys want a full squad over haul and cant appreciate were winning and that not all teams are pushovers (ie. fener) (eg. azzkicker, gaetan)

Oh man, seems like a missed a nice game. Was stuck doing an exam at the time. Couldn't concentrate at all on the exam. I had the wap on my cell phone on, and kept on refreshing live score to see how Inter were doing, which was very risky, since we are supposed to turn off the cell phones when we are giving exams. :p

Congratulations to the guys. I am waiting for Uefa.com to upload the match. these idiots take like 3 hours after the match has finished to upload it.

Ibrahimovic, highest scorer in the CL bit*ches. Too bad C.Ronaldo is tagging along with him, luckily I may add.

I just realized, why the hell are we posting in the away game thread?? that happened like 2 months ago.

No offense, but it once again comes to poor moderation on this forum.

lol

jimenez scores!!

hahahaha

still a crap player but at least he knows how to finish a one-on-one (suazo needs to take lessons from him)

good result and we are through to the next round..
it was obvious that samuel and ibra got those yellows on purpose...lol

Special shout out to Chivu, for really looking tight defensively and also pitching his effort offensively...he's really making an impact. Tell Chelski to keep their Portuguese for themselves, we have the wall.

Let me add my contribution to the efficient. hardworking and result loving fan base. Everything has been said, but i just want to add that as long as we are confident, the patience in our gameplan will always be vital. I really enjoy how the team is not choking and getting all wrapped.

Chivu was MOM for mine, he played great especially in the 2nd half when he started to drift out wide and link up with our forward line. Also special shout to Samuel played a great game and I can see why Matrix is having a hard time breaking back into the first XI.

Anyway I was glad to see us play for the full 90 and continue to attack none of this shut up shop after we get a lead, the score should of been more if not for some poor execusion by Suazo, Cruz and Stankovic. Ibra's goal was pure magic as usual, the confidence to stand up a seasoned vet like Roberto Carlos and then smash it into the bottom corner of the net is amazing.

Very satisified with the perfomance, I have a good feeling about our European prospects this season let's keep it up.

firstly, ibra's goal was top corner :)

secondly, relax...
our group was cska, psv, and fenerbache...
though they are competitive teams, they are not top class...
if manU or chelsea were drawn in a group as this, people will be saying "look how they gave manU the easy group"

all i can say is i am happy we qualified first and it is looking like all the big guns are topping their groups as well (except liverpool and arsenal)

CL is a big iffy for every club and i, unlike some of the delusional fans here, know that winning CL is not a "must" task for mancini and the boys but a "bonus" task....

we'll see how we go this year and seeing how zlatan has turned from a CL flop to top scorer, maybe the rub of the green is starting to rub Inter's way...

I don't wanna be defensive but do you wanna read 100 posts of

FENERBAHCE - INTER 10 - 0 (Alex 9, Kexman)

Welcome to hell!

Inter B team of Milan

King Fenerbahce

And besides, if the thread's name is not clear enough, I don't know what to do already, it even has the date on it.
