By the way Primo, TIM Cup = the pre-season cup, not the one we won by beating Roma last year. ;)

No I think TIM Cup is Coppa Italia.
http://www.inter.it/en/stagione05/coppaitalia/index.html

I think the Trofeo Tim is the pre-season cup. We won that too, didn't we? So many cups these days, it's hard to keep track. ;)

So I'm now with Inter and can you believe this shit...

Javier Zanetti is retired. Favalli isn't. :scream: I've lost some of my passion for this game....

interfan: it is a career mode, you play the role of a manager (you play the games too) and have a 15 year career. My first 3 yrs (seasons) were with Villarreal, now I'm at inter.

:intersca:

That happend in fifa 2005 with me to. JZ retiring after only 2/3 seasons.

Here are inter's official ratings and line-up...

Their rating suck as always

How on earth can the give one of the best defender in the world 79, I wonder if they have ever seen a football match or they just rate the plays after their name, cause it looks like it.

And J.Zanetti only 85 :wallbang:

Deki, Pizarro, Veron, Cruz, Burdisso (which is by far the worst he should at least get 80), C.Zanetti: are all underrated  idiots

But where are Matrix and Kily

Guys I know the ratings suck which is why I edited them all!!!

Materazzi isn't in that list but he is listed as Valerio Bernardo if u can believe that shit.... Kily isn't in the game - they chose Carini over him. IDIOTS............

In terms of game play..... hmm I'm still undecided. In terms of licensing and everything else (except maybe some of the faces, boots and kits), FIFA wins hands down.

I'll be looking forward to PES 5 though... then when a patch comes out for it to fix all the incorrect names and numbers and shit it will be awesome.

what the hell?

well in mine there was no Materazzi, just a tall CB with number 23 named Valerio Bernado and Burdisso was number 27...

I got my game from a 'factory outlet' though so... but that shouldn't be the reason.

I got FIFA today. I'm well impressed with it, to me it's a great game to play on your own, while Pro Evo is always the best to play with a mate.

Some players look amazing, other just crap! And I can't find a way to modify their appearance other than creating a new player from scratch.

Also, what happened to Season Mode? It was great to play Serie A + CL and Coppa Italia... Is that what you do in Manager Mode?

Anyway, the gameplay is way cool, I'm really enjoying it.

I know, something similar happened to me and I'm pretty confused... Also, no matter what I did, I was always losing money after games...

I also "got" FIFA 2006 today, and played it a lot. I kinda enjoyed it, the gameplay seems improved, but the keeper is horrible on crosses, just like Toldo :D .
I also played Winning Eleven 7 and PES 4 a while ago, but FIFA seems better to me, the gameplay is faster, it's more arcade-like and I like it that way. Too bad EA did so many mistakes with players, transfers and numbers :(
I loved the multiplayer part of FIFA 2005 and I am eager to try 2006 out and see how it feels.

Does anyone have the PC version of the game? If so, is there any chance you can extract the audio clips of the commentators in all different languages? That would be cool!

Having played the game, I am 100% when I say that although an improvement from 2005, it's still a rip off and not worth it.

PES 5 Baby!

Fabio :)
