This 17 year old, Stipe Perica, Croatia, has quite an impressive CV. 8 goals scored this season for his club in top division, scored for Croatia U20 today. Never seen him play, but certaintly he looks promising in theory.

The most promising players from Portugal are: both CBs, Tiago Ferreira (Porto) and Ilori (Sporting), and Bruma (Sporting). I also like Tozé from Porto.
Our press rates really high Edgar Ié and Agostinho Cá but I haven´t seen much from him yet. Both are from Barcelona and former Sporting, I think they moved their to pay the remaining fee whn Sporting bought Jeffren

haha England is out in the 1st round in a very easy group. They are the only European team not to make it to the 2nd round or at least finish 3rd :) Congrats to Iraq who are the only non euro/South American team in to finish as head of it's group.

This tournie so far has been pretty boring none of the teams play very well and I hate that they do the best 3rds make it to the next round. I think Chile is the best team in the tournie they just have 0 discipline. Colombia/Spain vs Chile/Portugal/France will be the final.

I don't get why Concacaf gets 4 spots to this WC if their teams are so shitty. Fine South America is smaller but out of our 4(2 are basically taken spots for Arg/Brazil). The small amount of euro teams in this tournie is kind of shocking.

Italy, Germany, Holland, England don't really do too well or make it to these tournies do they just not care?

They were supposed to sign with Inter. Already had an agreement for personal terms and everything. Sporting were going to lose them for free so instead they sent them to Barca before they had a chance to leave.

So why didn't they sign for Inter?

Ie and Ca have barely played for Barca B this year. Infact one would even say its been a very disappointing season for them.

Both were keen to go to Inter on a free, but basically we were VERY slow wrapping up their deals - they boty gave interviews keen on signing for Inter, but ultimately they went to Barca. And they've suffered for it imho too, they're a little but not badly young for the Barca B side, and they're failing hardcore in terms of getting game time. Next season will be crucial.

Sporting sold them before they could leave on a free. It wasn't their choice.
thats BS, to be honest.

Their contracts were expiring, they were WELL past any bosman date. They could have signed with us if we wanted them to, we just fucked it up.

Uruguay are through. Im fucking jealous that Nicolas Lopez belongs to Roma, what a top fucking talent they have in their hands.....
On another note, hopefully we sign Sebastian Cristoforo. Nice, strong midfielder.

Deulofeu was shit today, all the attacking players for Spain weren't at their best really. It will be interesting to see la garra charrua go up against mini tiki-taka.

Ghana just eliminated Portugal who were one of the favorites. Ghana were very poor , they were losing until the 80 min when ghana manager recalled that they actually have a player in serie b like Boakye , who entered and changed the match (probably portugal underrated them a bit too).
Duncan played in the last 25 minutes since he was benched for the 2nd game in a raw.

Ghana will now play Chile in the quarter final.

In the meantime chile eliminated croatia. I saw only the 2nd half and livaja did shit. He was marked by Lichnovsky who we were after btw. On the other hand that Castillo of chile was very good and scored a very intelligent goal to give chile the lead.

Up to Colombia and Paraguay to make it 4/4 out of the South American teams in the last 8 :)

With all respect to the other teams France is the team to beat and the most complete. I only saw Spain play against Mexico but they did not seem impressive at all. I really like the Chilean and Uruguayan teams. Colombia is just Quintero single handly winning everything and a real strong defense. Which is not going to work against better teams.

Going to be an all euro or all South American final Colombia/Spain vs Chile/France

Shame you got snubbed by Inter, astroboy Quintero. What a beast. World class player in the making.

The Colombian U-20 coach is awful. All his subs have been bad now he is playing with 3 strikers who can't pass to each other and no MF other than Quintero and Perez. No Vergara next game is going to be an issue. Tho This Korean goalie today is having a great game. I don't want to go to PKs

Portugal is out, not much of a surprise, from what I saw on the other games we were very poor defensively despite having good individual players there, as a whole it just didn´t work.

I was working so I dind´t manage to watch the match so I´ll not say much about it.

Now I´m watching Colombia and rooting from them like the portista that I am. The rumour about us and Quintero are growing stronger every day, but with decise goals like this let´s see if we aren´t outbid.
