J.Cesar injured his back. Recoba is still doing his own excercises. Maxwell seems to be not-fit still. Coco is not part of the team. I have no idea what Choutos is doing.

Will definately be a tough match as Fiorentina are no pushover. Though I'm confident in the side, and I'm really excited about our 4-3-1-2 formation with Figo behind the strikers. I think we'll win it 3-1. Scoring 2 of our goals in the 2nd half. I'm hoping Adriano actually scores. Though I feel Ibra will.

Recoba and J.Cesar's injured. Maxwell isn't fully recovered yet. Coco hasn't got a shirt number assigned so it's safe to assume he isn't going to play ever.

Good stuff I like it our fullbacks are going to have their hands full with Mutu and Santana. from what I have seen of Mutu recently he has turned into quite the livewire and is going to need some one with experience to get a handle of him.

Making sure those two are kept quite along with Liverani will ensure that Toni will have his work cut out for him. This is the type of game where Materazzi is a must he knows Toni and was all over him in the two games last season and I think he would be ideal for a starting spot against a team that is going to attack in the manner that Fiorentina will/should.

Main points are keeping the support triange to toni under wraps and this game should be ours. Sadly I think the atmosphere and the form of in particular Mutu will get the best of us at least once.

My prediction is: 1-1

Its a shame, Maxwell didnt have a good pre season.. I garuntee you if he did he would be starting this game. Either way Maicon deserves it.

I don't undarstand that thing about Adriano, he is not injured,he's ready, he's be out of national team this weak so he's not tired.
The most important,he's better from Crespo so I don't want him on bench.

Glad to hear that J.Cesar won't play this match.

It would be a great choice if Mancini will realy field Ibra-Crespo, my dream duo. Adriano comes in second half and tries to save what is left from his name.

Although, I wanted to see the 4-3-1-2 again, but let's not rush things up, let's have a good start instead of experimenting new tactics.

Now we can start winning with 11 men on the field. Yes, we are going to help Adriano rediscover his form, but we don't put him at the start of the game simply because we MUST WIN THIS ONE :wallbang: . I don't see why the players who did better previously should sit on the bench because of Adriano. Just bring him in when the team is winning.

I'm quite happy with plan B, Maicon should be reasonably reliable if he continues his run from pre-season. Hope he will make his mark in his Serie A debut .

And why is Carini in the team? I thought he left us, I'd rather have J.Cesar & Orlandoni than him.

Very tough test for us to start. I believe, there wouldn't be a draw. Either Inter will win with confidence or it's going to be the copy of SuperCoppa TIM with many goals. Firenze will give their all to win, so we need to be calm during the opening minutes, and start pushing them back after 20 minutes of play.
And Ardi should come on the pitch in the second half, to put more pressure on tired Fiorentina defenders.
Anyone knows whom did Fio. meet for friendlies in pre-season?

It's not that, there will be live coverage here, but I won't be home... I have to go to a party, and I can't miss it. So I will probably miss the match. I hope I can watch at least first half...
