This game proves that average players work as a squad is much better than 11 talented players worth half billion in total in PSG logic playing on their own.

Does that even make sense to u? Why will a Brazilian be wasting time?!?!? the card was to Hulk man!

I thought that was for the Mexican player.. :palm:

Also proves that tacticians & coaches actually play a much bigger role than they are credited for. I am about to start a strike to get rid of this Mano idiot! That dude is as clueless as they come.

So happy! :D:D:D

But honestly, this wasn't the best game from Mexico, they scored in the 30th second and gave the ball to Brazil a lot of time. They looked very cautious out there, but oh well, a victory is a victory :slick:
Hulk changed the game for Brazil, every time he got the ball there was some sense of danger. Neymar had a terrible first half but improved a lot in the second half.

Mexico missed Gio Dos Santos a lot, with more speed upfront we could had finished this earlier. :slick::slick::boogy::boogy::boogy::boogy::happy::happy::happy::happy:

imo this is one of the better games from Juan this tournament. He made one mistake only, and even there there was play with the hand by the Mexican.

I'm not sure about this, he wasn't required much as Mexico didn't attack for a lot of minutes, and when they did it was mostly from the left side. I said during the game that if Aquino moved to the right wing instead of the LW the story would had been different because he's really fast! He looked uncomfortable today as a LW imo, but it was a strategy as they wanted a more defensive player in the right to cover Marcelo.

In the last shot from Mexico he looked slow covering Fabian, that surprised me. Is he really slow or what? Haven't seen him much at Inter

Cmon man you've to give credit where it's due. It's not easy to have a complete flawless game. Even silva made mistakes. Overall it was a nice display from juan, gotta admit.

....aaaaaand then he gets loaned out.

UEFA actually uses the U-21 Euros... so it is even more shit than expected lol... they should just switch to a standard qualifier or strike out the U-21 comp & do a U-23. I dont c the need for a U-17 championship & then U-21...but then again FIFA does that as well :palm:...

ok, you're right, he didn't make mistakes today I'll give him that. I'm just saying he wasn't very required defensively but when he was he was good.... except in the last minute where I thought he looked slow. Fabian was behind him and got the ball first, and Fabian isn't fast at all, he's a bit chubby

I think part of the second goal is Juan's mistake tbh. He should mark Peralta better.

I'll check who was supposed to be marking him, nevertheless all the defense was terrible there

Peralta came from Juan's back to head the ball in between Silva and Juan. iirc. It was a mistake by the defense system which means Juan contributed as well.

Euro teams in General are not as good as South American ones. Other than Germany and Spain youth teams. Until this Euro cup Italy just pisses off the other team by bunkering and England and france are beyond over rated. Mexico plays very well and has been very good in the U-17,U-20s and now U-23. They also have a strong league which most of you won't agree with but some of the teams in that league could easily beat a lot of the teams in Italy. European teams in general are not too concerned with letting youth players play other than Barca.

Meh I beg to disagree on the Mexican league. I watch (or used to watch) that league. They are the primary reason I started disliking the Mexican NT. I c very little difference between that league & the MLS. I honestly don't think any club in Mexico could challenge a mid-table club in Italy, Germany, Spain or England.

The question of youth teams is a burning one of sorts. A good example is Mexico (which u rightly mentioned) and Nigeria. Those are countries that in the past have owned the world at youth competitions & then once they get to the senior level, they flake out. Why? There is something wrong somewhere. Something that is preventing those youth players from actually breaking through to the senior level. I could quote a psychological problem, which u may or more likely wont agree with... My point is, u can't always says it is because the others are overrated. Ok, lets assume that is a fair point, but then why are these kids not breaking through with their own national teams after shining at the youth level? I doubt the senior NTs are being unfair with them as maybe a club recruiter might be.

Bad coaching, lack of confidence, physically weaker than other teams, they aren't use to winning(no longer the case for Mexico and Spain. Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Germany are the top 4 teams in the world and always will be because no matter how shitty the roster these teams know they can and should win and anything less than being champion is failing. Didn't Russia rape italy before the Euro and Italy went to the final and Russia got knocked out of the easist group. One team just use to winning. For Mexico I think it's physical weakness. If you compare a US player to a Mexican player you have a 5+ inch difference in size and like 20lbs in weight. Then some teams like Colombia have god awful coaching that basically screw the team.

I for one like the US NT they just have a awful awful roster and blame it on coaching. Even with Mou being their coach doesn't change the fact their players suck. Tho they defiantly have more balls than any other team and american are use to winning which most other countries are not.
