Nbc commentators said egypt woke up a sleeping beast after first goal. No what happened was egypt got over the star struck factor and started balling the way they came out initially. This right winger M. Salah of egypt is fearless just running at Marcelo and egypt back line like they no bodies. Egypt could be winning if they hadn't blown their earlier chances.

And Pajo how is Oscar better than Ganso?

This England vs. Senegal is about to be a brawl. I am convinced they are trying to kill each other. Bellamy might have a broken knee after tackle by S. Ciss of Senegal.

Damn brazil is taking a risk because if M. Salah gets that ball I think he is going to score.

In every aspect of the game bar his vision and passing.

... but that doesnt make sense Pajo! Vision & passing are the 2 most important & most difficult traits to master for a creative midfielder! So u are in many ways just saying "Ganso owns Oscar".

I don't like this Brazil. They are playing the Brazilian version of Catenaccio.

Owns? Nah. Overall Oscar is better player. The vision and pass Ganso possesses is better, but not by huge margin. Also, in every other aspect of the game, Oscar is better, in some things the margin is huge, like the pace, dribbling, and finishing.

Ok, maybe not own per se... but again for a creative midfielder, pace is not really that important (which to me is the only thing Oscar has on Ganso) Dribbling? I'd say they are level on that. So it comes down again to the important aspects. The aspects that actually make & bend games: vision & passing.

In terms of movement yes Oscar is better than Ganso but Ganso has almost a old playmaker type of game. When Ganso is put into spot as attacking midfielder he controls the pace of game better and as you said his vision and pin point passing is better than Oscar. I think he could be a fantastic replacement to Wesley as he kind of reminds me of Wesley but not as good yet because he is still young.

Also the blood bath called England vs. Senegal has just become tied at 1 to 1. Senegal looks slow on the ball and not as quick as Gabon looked against the Swiss. Might be because England is playing defensive and just trying to counter attack. I guess they went with the Chelsea approach.

Cross bar by GB!!!

Senegal plays the typical West African type football while Gabon is the typical Centre African. The West African game relies heavily on speed & technical ability on the ball (individual skill) while Centre Africans play a robust type of football. Physical & more coordinated team work.
