yep. Acerbi is a rock but he gives me a ton of anxiety when the opponent hooves the ball up the pitch due to his snail pace. Can’t remember who it was but he had like five steps advantage chasing a ball down and still got beat to it today lol.Well we should be looking/preparing for Acerbi's replacement anyway regardless of the incident because of his age.
Agree. Farris could have said better than that. Inzaghi would have dealt it more subtly if he was asked about Acerbi situation, just as Marotta did. I hope the club would instruct the players how to respond when asked those questions, too. Because I wouldn't be surprised if one of them says, "C'mon, bro. Why all the fuss? We cuss all the time. Things like that should have ended on the pitch." Remember what Acerbi said upon his acquittal. He said if every slur should be punished, "even insults to Serbs, Italians, and mothers should be punishable offences." So crass. Another reason why I am still honestly leaning toward JJ's version. (Not to say that I am ruling out Acerbi's innocence)I think it is going to take a long time for Acerbi to be spoken about in terms other than racial abuse.
Personally, I do not think it was a good idea for it to be spoken about after the match against Empoli and for staff to say that they were 100% behind the player. Doing so started the fire again and we now have to wait for it to die down.
Well, he did not see at first and then normal teammate reaction.
There is a longer video, in which he shook hands with all the players who were sitting before Dimarco (there were 5). It’s a bit strange to say the least that he missed Thuram of all the 6 who were sitting.Well, he did not see at first and then normal teammate reaction.
If you see how Acerbi has been put through the mud - I hope the racist accusations won't become a strategy to disrupt opponents.
As we all know a certain team in Serie A that would go great lengths to win 'at all cost'.
He needs to go. I had enough.
He's the only one that just couldn't pass in the first half. I like his physicality in the second half, but he is far too slow to pass the ball and it KILLS most of our attacks.
