Thing is that our style fits bigger teams that don't defend that much. It's more of an issue when we have smaller teams that defend with 11 players and hit us on counters.
I'm not so sure about this. Cagliari changed their approach after the break, they stopped defending as much & had a go, which payed off, whilst we just got worse after they started to take us on. Worrying performance from Inter, Cagliari are a Serie B team ffs & they outplayed us in the second half.

that's why I said we're missing some type of players, high defensive line will leave a gap behind for opponent to exploit, and it will be a disaster when facing a fast attacker like Salah for example. our defensive line rimind me of Pep's Barca but as you know Pep got pace in Alves and Alba (Rafinha & Alaba with Bayern) to cover his ass in no time, while we have Dambro and Santon.

De Boer under pressure at Inter
By Football Italia staff

Frank de Boer has reportedly been warned over Inter’s form, following a poor start to the season.

The Dutchman replaced Roberto Mancini as Coach this summer, but the Nerazzurri have lost five of their 10 matches in all competitions.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, De Boer had a meeting with vice-President Javier Zanetti, sporting director Piero Ausilio and director general Giovanni Gardini before training yesterday.

The Beneamata hierarchy are concerned about the Coach’s choices, management of the squad and the team’s physical fitness.

Geoffrey Kondogbia and Marcelo Brozovic have been frozen out of the squad for some time, with Gazzetta reporting that the directors believe this has gone beyond disciplinary sanctions.

In addition, the Inter bosses are believed to be concerned about some of De Boer’s changes, such as introducing Stevan Jovetic in Sunday’s defeat to Cagliari, leaving almost a 3-3-1-3 shape on the pitch.

Finally, the fitness of the squad is an issue, as in the last 20 minutes against the Isolani, the Nerazzurri’s intensity dropped noticeably.

De Boer is under pressure, but he’s not thought to be under immediate threat unless the upcoming Southampton and Atalanta games bring humiliating defeats.

Things will therefore be evaluated after Inter-Crotone on November 6, where results and performances will be analysed.

The nervousness of the Inter leadership is reflective of the worries of the Chinese owners, Suning Group.

Big investments were made in the squad over the summer, and the ownership was expecting a far better return for the money they spent.

yeah that 3-3-1-3 , was shocked he took of Ansaldi rather than Medel. surely at that point you dont need a holding midfielder and a player who was constantly available on the right wing was more important.

I was shocked as well. He had used the same system against Chievo. It had failed spectacularly on that game. I don't know what made him think it could work better this time but it was a strange move from him. Hopefully, we won't see it again.

"I won one game, why should I ever change?" seems to be the attitude.

Well imho our current results are a fluke just like the 1:0 wins under mancini we re a fluke. Back then we were playing like shit but some how managed to win games on pure luck now we are playing better but we dont manage to grab the full points ever.
Dont get me wrong we re not playing great yet but i think our biggest problem is concentration we usually play quite god for like 60/70 mins just to fuck it all up with 20 minutes of headless play. I really want Frank to be given time atleast till January if by then things don t iproove go ahead and fire him. But firing him now seems very usless it s not like we have any great options to take over ad the resuts probably would only change or one or two games and then go back to what they are now.

Its harder to stomach flukes when you're losing, than when you're winning.

the coach this time doesn't have Rocchi, Alvarez, Guarin, Jonathon. He's got the best inter team since we finished second in 2010/2011, a team that is a lot better than the Inter that finished 4th last year, and our rivals have all got weaker. I dont want us to sack FDB now, but fuck waiting to January. The seasons gone at that stage if we continue our current form. I'd give him the next 5 games in all comps. We dont even have injuries to contend with at the minute. We've barely scored goals or created that many goal scoring chances.

Just checked our goal difference, out of curiosity - ZERO.

at the start of the transfer window, before the euros, would you have suggested Joao Mario? Or Barbosa? Or Banega, before we signed him?

No, of course not.

PLENTY of people here shout for players to leave, with no replacement in mind.

Our job isnt to suggest the coaches. Maybe the Sassuolo guy is interested in a change. Maybe maybe maybe. Who knows what's going on. We have management, scouts, sporting directors, and agents to take care of that.

This doesnt make sense. So its your job to suggest someone to leave, but it isnt your to suggest a replacement? Its pretty much the same thing. It's our management's job to find who they want, and deal with them and bring them here, yes, true. But you are telling us you'd like a change, then may you tell us who you wish to replace him, in this time?

I myself have replacement in mind for every player I want out, and I'm very sure everyone else too, whether it happens or not is another thing. Also players arent coaches, there are plenty of them, while coaches are harder to find especially at a time like this.

I agree but a fluke is a fluke and in the long run the true trend will show.

It's easy to call for his head. The tough thing is to suggest a proper replacement.

Let's just give him the time to work in peace. At the end of the season we'll see if to continue with him or not. To change coach now would only bring even more confusion. We need to believe in him.

It's not my JOB to do any of that. I'm merely spectating on the fact that I want FDB to leave. I dont have a replacement in mind, no, but I'm sure there are some.

I have a feeling that everything in this club is upside down. Can anyone explain to me, why the staunchest supporters deal with some stupid book? There is more important things than one stupid book. There is more bigger problems than this book.

The leadership discuss whether to take off the captain armband from Icardi. Wtf? Why nobody commented the poor performance of the team? Why nobody commented the losses from mediocre teams like Chievo, Cagliari, Hapoel, Sparta Prague, etc.? Why nobody commented the crazy tactics with countless crosses? Why nobody commented the inappropriate substitutes every game? Why these fans do not react to these things? They are much more important than a book. Are they blind?

Why Brozovic still not playing? Is he killed a man? Why Kondogbia not play instead Medel? Why Gabigol still not playing? We paid 3 million more to get him now, but he is a solid bench. Why Jovetic doesn't get more chances? Why we use him for unusual position like winger? I'm tired to look weak players like Candreva (eternal crosses), Medel (eternal pass back), Eder (only 1 goal since he came), Palacio, Melo, etc.

The questions are endless and they have no answer, but why discuss them as we have much more important things like Icardi and his book?
