De Boer said:
“We had talked about this, there were meant to be more players going into the box to meet the crosses, above all Ever Banega and Joao Mario, but in the first half there was only one winger and Icardi there.”

I've said the same in Candreva's thread.

I loved our gameplay specially in the first half. The approach, the mentality, and even the defenders who were focused and compact. However, those constant and countless chances created which found no one to seize and lead to no where have definitely gotten into the team's head. Playing with one lone striker who is also a pushover will get us no where. We need that Julio Cruz kind of player who jumps over a defender's shoulder and scores from half a chance when you least expect.

Unfortunately, De Boer doesn't have better options. There's Grandpalacio, Jovetic and fucking Eder. It's like pick your favorite poison motherfucker.

A loss to Southampton and Atalanta and i'm fairly sure he's out. And that is okay I guess, the start to the season has been abmyssal bar the win over Juve.

Alternatively, let's not do anything, bury our heads in the sand until Jan, and see what happens then?

3 wins in 10 games. like 120 mil euros invested. Doesnt deserve it unless he can produce VERY soon. His fails of late have been fucking spectacular.

He's done some good work in building our midfield, but that's it. Our defense is trash under him, he is extremely inflexible tactically, his substitutes leave a lot to desire to be honest, and his go-to oh shit tactic is 'how many attackers can i throw on'

If it wasnt for the Juve win, none of us would even be discussing this. He'd have been fired by now.

Hes a good coach definitely but.. he has great players also so i dont know if they are playing this good cause of the coach or cause they are just good ...
Only thing that i know for sure is that OUR TEAM IS IN COMPLETE CHAOS ... we dont have a real team like zanetti cambiasso maicon and julio cesar .. who fights for the team to be united ..i am very dissapointed in our players :(

He shouldn't be fired nor he should resign. It won't make any difference anymore, so change nothing.

Great, lets use that excuse 2 months into the season. Maybe he can use that excuse next season too.

I'm sure we could find someone.

2 months its not a lot of time. You guys forgotten soon that we looked like Serie B team during the summer and until now we had good game like VS Rube, Empoli and even Roma and Palermo, when we lost points. Inter is playing much better than last season, and last season we won 5/5 but played shit. I prefer FDB and im sure that he will learn from his mistakes and we will play better.

- - - Updated - - -

Allegri after 8 Serie A games in Rube - 2W, 3D, 3L.
FDB after 8 in Inter - 3W, 2D, 3L.

calm down...

and FdB is new to this league...brought in 8 August,2 weeks before the campionato start
we all knew it was going to be a rough start for him...those who are turning your backs on him already...wow
I don't blame HIM for our situation but the mgmt for making the coach change so late...he is still learning about our league and about our club, squad,team...and this is normal, you should deal with this reality

so what do you propose we do?

we wait until jan, winning an average of 1 every 3 games, ending up with 18 points in Jan, looking good for relegation?

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.

You dont pay 3 million euros a year to a motherfucker to learn. You pay 3 million euros a year for them to deliver.

the bulk of his mistakes are ones that any regular viewer of serie a wouldnt make. He's tactically inflexible, apparently quite naive, and surprisingly unimaginative. It might have worked for him at Ajax, but it certainly doesnt seem to be working here.

What's most worrying is that he isnt even showing signs of adapting to the problem. Instead it's the usual shit - lets just throw on more attackers and pray, because it worked that one time.

If we win the next 3 games everyone is back riding the hype train. Calm down.

The problem isn't the coach, it's the bloody mentality. We got no spirit.

given 3 wins in a row would be unprecedented - yeah we probably would be back on the hype train. But if aliens arrived in our atmosphere, i'd be freaking out. Doesnt mean I have to worry aobut it happening.

The problem isn't the coach? We have very good players, but they are on the bench. Where is Brozovic? Where is Kondogbia? Where is Gabigol? Where is Jovetic? Why they are on the bench every fuckin' game? Why we play everytime with Eder, Candreva, Medel, even Palacio/Melo? Do you see any improvement in our game? If isn't Handanovic, our losses will be staggering.

Hes way to play football is in Italy a no go. Were only better because we have much better players then last year. Today we saw the same shit from Bologna and Palermo game. Our game is too predictable, slow and boring.

Also want to notice that players like Kondogbia and Brozovic got kicked out while Icardimovic gets 90 minutes every game. That was a good game for some fresh air in forward with Gabigol. But no, he brings again Jovetic and Eder in some strange formation. And Banega should stay behind Icardi like against Roma for fuck sake, why he dont understand this?

So far FDB's spell reminds me a lot of Luis Enrique's at Roma...hopefully it doesn't end quite the same way.
