above is the players I'd take @ Inter. Not all at once, obviously, but if they're the players I wouldn't mind coming to Appiano.


Placente or Ze Roberto would be great. The rest most people would take. Some would doubt the two Amorouso's, but, Christian has been brillant for Bologna, and we need a left midfielder whilst Marcos isn't that good, but if we let go of Cruz, Recoba and Vieri...we'll need a fourth or fifth striker and he will be good...decent record in Italia too.

Sol/Rio= King, He has the power and strengh of Sol but can play football like Rio.

Rio is the only English defender than is arguably better right now, as you say Sol is getting on but at his best he is another one, Terry is good and I respect him but he is a just below them 3 IMO.

The question should be, why on Earth would I want him? I guess because I'm still living in Euro 2004. :dielaugh: Honestly, I don't know why. There's just something about him to me. Physically he's perfect for us as well. Performance wise, I think he can do better if Roma aren't such a debacle and if Dellas is given a regular spot.

I don't think we should consider taking Dellas. He's not proven to be very good this season, and given how you would never take Pelizzoli based on his performances this year, i'm wondering how is it you could even consider taking Dellas then?

Ze Roberto and Sol Campbell ...

Why Ze Roberto? Is he going to be our solution to our left wing? No way guys! He is even few months older than Kily and no way he's going to be more succesful in Serie A. To me he is'nt anything special.

Sol Campbell would be ideal in a way, he is still top class centre-back and would form excellent and balanced partnership with Cordoba. In few years expect Burdisso to overtake his position (in this scenario).

Taddei is a possibility but no way my number one choice to our left flank. Reminds me too much of our numerous failures to get decent winger. Same goes for Placente, decent player, but I have very mixed feelings about him. No more crazy chances.

So all in all, Sol Campbell is the only one I would like to have. I don't know much about Fabio Simplicio, so no comment about him.

I'd definately take Van Bommel or Fabio Simplicio because Davids will leave in the summer.
Might also get Taddei for the wings ,but no more than that ,surely no average players like Placente Koffour or Amoroso ,there's a good reason that their contract expires ,they're not good enough for their current teams.

I'm not sure about Sol Campbell ,he'll probably want a very big contract and he's not very young ,I can see this guy turning into a flop and would prefer to give Burdisso the chance he deserves.

I forgot about van Bommel, my bad. He would obviously be good. Cambiasso and van Bommel would be outstanding duo. As much as I like Pizzaro, he might not be solid enough defensively to play in the middle of flat 4-4-2. Van Bommel has it all.
