Starting for Cagliari today.
I didn't actually expect Ranieri to play him

Hopefully a good sign for his potential

The kid was actually very promising at Volendam too. One of their best players last season. He lacked some end product tho. Hopefully he get that over time. Really skillfull player. Ajax and PSV followed him closely too.

idk why they play him as a striker, which he's not... Also, Bellanova looks bad.

He had a decent play in the first half when he turned Schuurs but the finish wasn't great. Is this a loan with option + counter option deal? Anyone know the numbers?

Admittedly based on very little evidence, I’m convinced this kid will be a baller one day. I hope we can maintain ownership of him.

Would be so inter to get back our own keeper that we had a buyback option for by sending away one of our most promising new prospects. I like Di Gregorio but I would only send away Oristanio with a buyback.

Could he be the new Dimarco? I really hope so. (Of course in terms of career trajectory.)

At this stage in his career Federico had played (not much) in serie B and serie A with Ascoli and Empoli, then Sion in Switzerland and he was playing at Parma. Still -- he had 13 caps. Oristanio has already collected 18 for Cagliari.

Federico took two more years on loan at Verona to develop in what we have seen after, so I hope that Gaetano also finds his way (and good coaches) to then come back and find his spot in our team (no one expects for him to become a regular starter as Fede, but at least he could be a rotational player).

Good luck!

Why not sell him and keep him there for a year and negotiate a new buying back price?

use Oristanio as a part to buy Zirkzee or simply integrate him into Inter first team next season.

why would we integrate a guy who barely strung 3 starts in a row together for a side that almost got relegated

maybe Oristanio can increase his resale value by stay at the club rather than sell him in exchange for 0 euros.

where have we sold a kid like oristiano in exchange for 0 euros? not often i think? we normally get really good money on selling kids - for most of them, its their career all time high valuation.

i saw inter transfer records since beppe terms, how many euros they got apart from starting xi players the club sold... all of them was endless loans that lead to 0 euros for free at the end of their contract. It proved the club is sucks for selling footballers for mega money. That's why Inter's P/L record are so bad. Can't maximize their selling ability.

I think it's better for the board to make those rotation players as a transfer makeweight for secure a ready player like Zirkzee, Gudmunson, Lazzari, Di Lorenzo etc or simply integrate them into first team to increase their resale value.

Like what?

Players like Lazaro, Joao Mario, yes - we've had some bad first team level transfers, and Correa is likely to go to that too soon.

But youth? We've sold a lot of youth players for good valuations. Casadei, Bettella, etc, where we make millions.

Even our transfer flops at the youth level dont generally go for free - we lose money for example on Colidio, but its not like he left for free.

We suck at selling unwanted first team players, that is 100% true, but at the level fo people like Oristiano, we generally sell them for all time high valuations that they never get close to again.
