Next 3 away games are monza, fiorentina and roma. All of those are better than Genoa. Good luck.
So? We won Atalanta, Lazio and Napoli away.

Stop overreacting to yesterday result. We won 14 out of 18 Serie A games, we still on 1st place. We can drop points sometime, its ok.

Given what is at stake, a draw against Genoa was a poor result.

i'm sure its just tiredness at this point.
we are still short of 1 rotation striker, Sanchez offers nothing.

Maybe we should bring back Carboni. He can play at forward position for limited minutes. And he will look better than Sanchez at this point.

Poor performance but credit to Genoa. Thuram has been almost nonexistent without Lautaro besides him. Darmian is dead from exhaustion and offers nothing in attack anymore. Our midfield were pressed constantly by the rabid Genoa players who ran all night and didn’t let up.

Bastoni was really good though. He was spraying passes all over the pitch like Pirlo in his prime.

At the end of the day, you can’t win them all. It’s just not realistic. Hopefully Roma take points off Juve.

It's an annoying result, and it was a terribly played game. It's not surprising but still extremely disappointing that we go as Lautaro goes; the Lecce game was hardly any better in that respect. We knew what we were signing up for when we chose two 35 year olds as our "depth" strikers after all.

In any case, when you have away wins this season in Bergamo, Napoli, and Lazio (they may not be all that much this year but it's still not an easy game in their place), an away draw to Genoa is a little more justifiable. If we'd won this game but drawn to Napoli, we'd be in the same place right now regardless. It's hard to bitch too much about a 95 point pace, it just sucks that Juventus are nipping at our heels despite that. Last year Napoli were on 47 points at this stage (we're in the same ballpark), 2nd place Milan was on 38; much bigger difference in something we have very little control over.

What's most annoying is that this ground has officially become a banana skin venue for us; under Inzaghi we're 0-4-0 in Genoa, against three very underwhelming Sampdoria and Genoa sides (two of which got relegated) and then Friday's result. We can't seem to figure out how to get good performances down there.

Only Pazzini saved our scudetto in 09/10 dont forget, people. Roma was the winner until :pazzini: scored 2 .

And nobody remembers that. Well, except me , 13.5 years later.
Sure, that is true, but you can only get the Scudetto if you work to get into that position. That was one of the rare seasons where every game counted and Roma almost earned it's Scudetto, but we were just a bit better
