Bit of an overreaction? Lecce match didn't have enough chances? We didn't score a ton, but enough to win.For us, every upcoming match is like a final. Missing Lautaro is a huge blow, as we can see that our team is struggling a lot to create chances/score goals.
Reserves aren't clicking properly, but also Hakan has been lowkey poor over the past few matches. Of course every match is very important but in Luigi Ferraris it's always difficult to get points, especially at our current state how we are rather sluggish up front.
But the team has to get the job done, regardless of everything. Champs are made of going through difficulties like this.
We've had like one or two real chances tbh. Just because we've been close to the goal, doesn't always count as a chance to me. With Lautaro we create far more, we are less predictable and our build-up is superior that makes it very easy to come to good chances.Bit of an overreaction? Lecce match didn't have enough chances? With Lautaro, we've played 23 games this season and won 6 times with over 2 goal cushion.
We do create more with Lautaro but we definitely had more than one or two chances today. Arnautovic on his own had two great chances in the first half - both were from within 7-8 metres away from goal. Add in Barella's goal and that's at least 3 really big chances, on top of a few from set pieces plus the Pavard chance. We've had like one or two real chances tbh. Tonight we've seen a poor Thuram and also a rather inept Arnautovic. Expect a much harder approach against Genoa, also atmosphere there is going to be an obstacle for our players.

Now you are just splitting hairs to make your initial claim look more credible. We overwhelmed Lecce, Lautaro or no Lautaro.
^I fully agree, the mentality this year is different. You feel, barring any serious injuries, that this season will end with the 2nd star.We have only conceded seven goals. That's nothing short of amazing.
Watching the team so often; and I dont mean only games, but being here almost everyday, visiting all the Inter social media pages, the Inter websites, makes us lose sense of what really they've achieved.
It's like we're "studying the footprints", and we've totally ignored the bigger picture. Or like that quote "if you're standing too close to the elephant you can't see the whole elephant", or something along those lines.
Someone that doesn't support the team, might have a more realistic picture of how awesome we are this season.
We're everyday here, every game. We see the good, the bad, the meh, and then we give extra attention to the bad and make it worse
Having said that, if there ever was an away game this season that I was sure of winning, it's this one.
Different mentality 100% from last season.
