Pescara's Gianluca Caprari thanks Inter for believing in him: 'But I still haven't accomplished anything.'

The 22-year-old striker initially seemed to be involved in the deal for the sale of Gianluca Lapadula to Napoli, but when that fell through, the Nerazzurri swooped in and purchased the youngster.

Caprari has been parked at Pescara on loan for the moment, which is the same solution the Partenopei originally planned for him.

“I'm happy with my future destination,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “Inter believed in me and I'm flattered, but I don't feel fulfilled at all. On the contrary, I still haven't accomplished anything.

“If I really want to be a player worthy of a great club, then this is the year for me to prove it. I want to score enough goals for Pescara to reach safety. I'm aiming to reach the double digits, like last year.”

true, Its hard to see us do much since we have to balance our books. Like I said in another thread we need a player to help transition the ball from defense to the midfield. We had so many errors from defenders giving the ball away last season. I hope management is looking in that direction.

I agree 100 percent I originally thought thats why we bought him. Most people seem to think hes Attacking midfielder now. I admit to not watching him since he left valencia so I cant comment on it. He definitely a genius of the game. At the same time we have zero depth if he goes down.

Banega played as an advanced midfielder in the few games I caught of Sevilla. I don't think that position is written in stone though. He'll be tested in various roles and hopefully the staff can find the best position for him that suits and complements the rest of the team.

He looks like he can hold the ball better than Icardi and his movement is not bad either.
Well I know it's only 1 game (from this game only), so i cant judge him much. But looks like he is involved in the game quite well. Doesnt look too static.
Well who am I in saying all of these, I'm not an expert.

How much we pay for him?

€4.5m - Serie B price for a player that didn't begin his Serie A adventure yet. We also let Pescara have him for 1 more year, so we got ourselves a pretty decent price.

Pescara made nice profit though, as Caprari moved to Pescara outright for only €125,000 on June 27 [2015] in the deal which Roma bought back Politano.

He's quick and likes to pass, has good technique and seems to know what to do with the ball.

I really liked what I saw from this guy today. He is a good player and we did a good job to get him before he made a big splash in Serie A. That move against Murillo where he left him for dead today was :far:

Not sure where he would fit into the current Inter, maybe a true long term Palacio replacement, although we don't play with a SS currently. Let's see how he does over the course of a season though because as we know everybody seems to play out of their skin against us.
