10 years of FIFNostradamusMost Passionate MemberEngland will draw against Sweden, and score less than them against Trinidad, causing the second place, and then it's Germany-England, a very much awaited game by both sides, and of course neutrals. I guess that FIFA will allow that to happen, unless they want England to do better than just the round of 16

Jeeezzz..what a boring match..I almost fell asleep..
Is this the team that's suppose to be one of the candidates to lift the trophy?? I don't think so..Impotent attack, very defensive midfield and plenty of long balls coming from the back line..Just the kind of football I dislike..
Paraguay, even worse, no idea whatsoever..poor guy Gamarra, very unsure and unlucky today..And did you see that oldie Acuna?? He was exhausted in the 2nd half, barely walked over the pitch..

A lot of events were involved in causing a boring game such as this.
The unfortunate backward header for one, subing goalie and the REF really killed the tempo.
In addition, paraguay are a lethal defensive minded game..

The ref was horrible today. In fact, the refereeing was horrible as well in the Germany game. Both ref's were against Germany and England respectively.
I don't want to start any theories, but yesterday the ref was an Argie and today it was Mexican. In both cases, Germay and England were playing against a central and south american team.
FIFA should get totally impartial referees. Get Asian or African referees for games like that. If two European teams play each other, then a south american ref can be in charge.

Anyways T&T is putting up a great fight,but I hope they breakdown after Sweden score in the first 5 minutes of the second half...

Where is the Aston Villa GK? Wasn't he Swedish.
It will be harder now for Sweden to score. Whenever a smaller team gets a red card while they are tied with a bigger team, it is wrose for the bigger team!
The smaller team basically goes into totall defence mode.

You just gotta love these guys, T&T is a very sympathic team! I wonder what the odds looked like after the red card, but they made it! Not only played with heart, but they were very disciplined apart from the last couple of mins of course, when they were really tired.
