Bull-fucking-shit. Younger players will and have gone to big clubs that are in a mess. Vidal and Strootman went to Juve and Roma after some terrible seasons. It's up to our management to learn to scout somewhere else other than the retirement home of Serie A.

Not saying Hernanes is bad, I think he would be an upgrade. But I would say there are probably better deals out there.

Of course we didn't because we sold them all. But there are successes elsewhere besides Balotelli: Caldirola at Werder, Donati at Leverkusen (a CL club and 2nd in Bundesliga), Bonucci at Juventus, tentatively Destro at Roma.

As I've said, there is a good chance that Mbaye will flop, as is true of any youth player. But to get rid of our most consistently impressive outfield youth player in Serie A before even a full season of professional football is premature.

It's hard to make a leap from the Inter Primavera to Inter's first team.

a) make the first team straight from the Primavera like Balo(no neurons as Mou said) and Santon(turns out a party boy and average),Obi(born injured),Martins(made room for Zlatan who helped win 2 scudettos)

b) gets loaned to Serie B clubs-make to serie A clubs on loan(Livorno,Sass,Verona who are promoted)-gets spotted by other bigger teams(Lazio,Udinese,Genova,Samp) and goes away in the deal for a bigger name.

Hernanes would help us straight away(maybe not for 3th place...but you know to maintain some fu pride).
Mbaye is just a rookie playing for Livorno on loan.
If Mbaye would be usefull someday...I'm sure we would give Lazio or whoever xm€+the next promosing kid.That's how we operate since I remember tbh.Sometimes it pays off...sometimes it doesn't...but it's a circle like I explained.
