i really think some people read to much into this game i mean we played good for like half an hour and then only saw individual sparks
bt still from the last 2 games i saw i noticed that the type of players we needed we allready have but are infact injured
i mean we lacked a driving force in the midfield and kovacic is pretty good at this together with belfodil , palacio and botta if he is the player everyone says he is we dont need much more creativity
if we re gonna use a 3 man defence i think we re also covered in this area
so wts missing is a dmf and an rwb and please before you start criticizing mazzari remember today we didnt field our best players and the new players still need time to adjust

... for the preseason friendly. That formation was my suggestion for the friendly, NOT FOR THE SEASON . Perhaps you don't see that I have a link to my preferred formation in my signature?

I probably should've added more context to that post though.

Mazzarri should've put that formation in half time; we were going to lose anyway, so why not put our youngsters on the pitch.

Its gona be hard season ahead of us, but i trust Mazzarri! I just hope we get someone to replace Cambi like Taider/Wellington + Wallace for wing. If we are still 5th in December and something like 6pts behind 3th spot, im satisfied! And in January maybe Thorir is our new owner and gives us some new players to fight CL spots? Its gona take time to Mazzarri do his magic, so be patient boys!

Serie A has extended its transfer session to September 2, but refused to lift the limits on non-EU players.

Regarding the GAME against Valencia, we lacked creativity right from the starting line-up and we look very vulnerable like this. We need to attack our opponents, otherwise this happens: they just come in waves and our defence is clearly not used to this formation. We somehow lack that anchorman [DM] or Cambiasso can't do it any more... We looked really exposed and players were more focused on block-movement and block-backtracking than actually getting the ball!

This is only a preparation game, Mazzarri is TRYING things, you have to be patient, otherwise it's a Rafa/Gasp story all over again - especially without some competent wideman Pereira is too stupid to be in this club, so coming back from my dream-filled Holiday and no Isla deal confirmed is really not good news. Mazzarri asked for him before starting the pre-season preparations, but Branca is trying to save some money on last-minute deals... It's going to be a loooooong summer.

I just don't want to see Pereira and Chivu ever again on the field in Inter jersey. I doubt that even YouTube could put together two minutes of Pereira's good moves in Inter.

As for Cambiasso, he can play last couple of minutes every once in a while. Playing a Danish youngster with zero experience is already a massive upgrade in the midfield.

Of all people, Kuzmanovic should not be sold if we don't get two players that are actually better than him. At least he works his ass off.

And I see why Pajo added "Belfodil will surprise us all, including myself" to every post of his for the past two weeks.

i dont understand why we don't play our youngsters more often. Sure our regulars need a bit of a run around to get match fit but surely Cuchu and Chivu can't be considered regulars at this point. With our youngsters, if we lose, so what they're inexperienced, if we win GREAT, all in all they get valuable experience going forward and we can think about drafting them into the 1st team. It's a win-win. I can't for the life of me understand why Cuchu gets minutes ahead of Olsen. I'm sure Olsen's wondering too.

People are surprised Mazzarri is not giving time to youngsters? Have you followed this guys career? He doesn't really gravitate towards playing kids, no matter how talented. See; Insigne. He even said in one of his first Inter interviews that he prefers experienced players. We can only be thankful that Kovacic has no one that's older than him even remotely close in talent. Maybe Guarin if he wasn't such a bipolar cunt.

Anyways, looking forward to this season. Rubentus can polish us off on Tuesday and we'll bow out of this tournament as the shittiest club in it. And this is a tournament that has a fucking MLS team in it.

Judging by pre-season, it's good that every single italian team bar Fiorentina has been SHIT. We, Milan and especially Jube, considering their squad quality.

When we got Mazzarri I just completely ignored that believing that there is no way he would not play someone better and more talented over an older player just because of his age. It's entirely possible that Duncan and maybe even Olsen are already better than every single Inter midfielder minus Kovačić. And our average transfer targets including players that are 3rd or 4th options don't really stand out at all.
