Milan lost today against Trento 0-1. Their line up was mix, as most of their starters didn't play, but this is fucking Trento.
It seems that not only Inter is still out of shape, which is kind of relief.

The first penalty isn't on Sommer though - it's on Mkhitaryan losing the ball. Sommer didn't react well on the 2nd goal but it was a horrible backpass. He didn't have the best of games but after looking at highlights, I still think midfield is more to blame for those first 10 minutes than Sommer.

Yes. Preseason so there were errors. Wet conditions induced more errors. Yann settling in meant he's trying too hard and doesn't know his backs well.

But all that aside I do think our boys were a bit flat. Felt like one of those games where they realize 10 minutes in that they have a dogfight on their hands. Those are the painful kind of games, where you never really get into your best form.

Concern is that they look like the early season 2022 team not the CL Finals group. But we're gonna see soon if they are ready to go this year.

I am not relieved. Similar to last season, all signs point to another slow start, dropped points and being out of the race for the Scudetto in a blink of an eye.
