I think best is a bit extreme, but he definitely has skills. I just wonder if his body is up to playing at the intensity needed - professional, Serie A is gonna be a bit different to a random friendly

the team is the same shit as last seaon. Shit defending and still can't finish... And Thuram won't help with that.

I would say we will have better depth, but It's questionable how much it will affect the overall picture of our season. It may be significant, it may be not, given all other faults we have.

This is the second preseason in a row where we don't look good physically. Last season it beautifully carried into our season and fucked us royally. Let's see if it happens this year...

I've just watched the highlights. We created several chances and should've scored at least 7 if we had forwards who can actually hit the target. I honestly think Thuram is a decent player but he was a bit poor today, that sorry excuse for a shot he had after that Lautaro pass disgusted me. He needs to get his act together FAST.

I have a feeling our midfield will carry the team this season which is why I'm hoping we can get Samardzic signed.

Some people shit on Thuram, but I think his existence gave more shooting chances for the midfield or I should say rest of the team in short; I think his focal point isn't scoring btw. It is more a point for forward passing - providing more than just a target man, like he can run into space to receive and he can also retain possession not in a static way like Lukaku, force movements for the opponents. He is rather very good for the team, especially if we are playing 2 strikers; he is definitely not a world beater right now, but he has potential to play like Kluivert if needed, however, don't think our team is trying to set up like that.

I don't see how this is a problem, cause normally we won't need a striker to score 20+ goals if the goal scoring spreads across the team a bit more even. For Lukaku under Conte, we pretty much create all the chances for the strikers, which is a very different approach, but we can only play like that if the strikers are at a certain caliber, which I have to give some credit to Lukaku here, but in modern days, we don't need a striker like that, and most strikers aren't like that, and it can still work.

Also keep in mind he is still integrating to the team.
