“Doubtful? Let’s just say non-existent,” snapped a furious Stramaccioni on Sky Sport Italia.

“We asked for five minutes what on earth it was for, but the referee took on a huge responsibility with this decision. The Atalanta players were going towards the corner, because they didn’t see anything either.

“I don’t think Gervasoni made a mistake. I think he took the responsibility upon himself by seeing something that did not happen. He took the responsibility for an event that did not exist.

“We thought it was Ranocchia’s challenge, but it turns out it was a Samuel handling offence, when it didn’t hit his hand. It’s incredible.

Finally he blew up Rafa style! BYE BYE

I am new to Serie A, I came out of nowhere and they might send me back there at the end of the season, but I find it impossible that the referee could award a penalty like that.

Holy fuck regardless of tactics, points lost, formations & shit.. How the fuck you concede four goals at home?

Really can't see signs of a team right there and enough with that 3-5-fuckyourass approach. It gets you nowhere.

Damn very low standards we've setted with Strama.

at least we can always comfort that under gasp it was even worse

A little different to Rafa-style, to be fair

novara raped us under gasp. not to mention that apart from capitano and maybe one or two players rest of squad was dead after 15 minutes. it took ranieri almost two months to get squad in some sort of competitive form so if gasp remained as our couch no doubt that we would end in serie b

yes, but when strama plays gasperini's formation, with better players (juan/lucio, kovacic, not having to fit in sneijder), and the players gasperini wanted (palacio), you have to wonder if Gasperini would do better.

Had we done everything Gasp had asked we may have been a really good team last year..

He wanted to keep Eto'o instead of Sneidjer.. and had a trident of Palacio - Milito - Eto'o..

true gasp wasnt given players that he wanted but main problem was that under his reign our squad wasnt able to cope with serie a pace for more than 15 minutes, so what difference would palacio made even if we signed him?

Would be surprising to see Schelotto escape some sort of punishment tbh.

A bunch of naive thoughts can't escape my mind at the moment...

1) I think that both Cassano's and Palacio's injuries, despite being terrifying and mind blowing events, have positives. Something like "Sneijder's injury effect" after the first Siena game this season. It's not like we desperately need Handa or Palacio saving our asses every single game. We don’t have to rely only on them. There are other mechanisms, there are other players interacting. Sometimes these interactions are awkward, sometimes not! We may be in a deep shit and totally out of strikers (except beast Rocchci), but still create comparatively good situations and score. Even frequently... I don't care whether these were sheer luck, strokes of genius, whatever. The temporary mobilisation I saw there, despite the failure, our defence, no tactics etc. etc., somehow soothes the pain after this game (in comparison to the last ones).

2) By the way, we always got problems with Atalanta... they with scudetti… That’s it. :troll:

3) The worst in fact are not the results... not the Magikarp tactics Strama applies over and over again... not the lack of funds... I mean of course they are, but they are understandable... to some extent… i hope they are… damn! There are tripletta seasons, there are crises, there are crises that are misinterpreted with team’s regular forms. But there must be a goddamn plan! I can stand many humiliations, derby losses, Novaras, Schalkes, Sienas etc. But damn! I want to see a progress! I want to see a plan! An idea how to improve our game and team!

4) The thing Inter should be ashamed of is not the double Siena disaster… It is not even this game... It should be the fact that 'year 0' turned out to be 'year -1'! Instead of any progress, we are much more chaotic, clueless and the particular players regressed significantly, whereas nobody’s form increased. Even Strama's… we gave him experience and the time needed. Still, no skills. He’s a nice guy, I like him and I believed in him for a very long time. But, no more nice guys this June, please…

Didn't catch the game wanted to download it but couldn't find a upload and in my search saw the result so I figured it might be the best thing to just skip it.

Honestly I'm not bothered by result because our CL hopes were pretty much destroyed in that Juve clash even tho with that win it would be hard fetched to achieve 3rd spot with this team.

Probably the worst thing is that Branca and company will be in charge for another year of misery. I simply don't see why would we change our management at the end of season when things need to be done its best to do it it mid season so new ones can make proper plans. I blame everything on management because they brought in all the coaches and shit players.

Our medical team shod also be fired. No other club deals with so many injuries. This are the real dark times.

what a game.

It reminded me that people miss an open goal from 1m.
It reminded me that penalties can be awarded for no reason.
It showed me that a three man attack can fail due to all of them having injuries.

As for the future... I like Jesus. Let's build an Inter around that guy :)
