I disagree entirely. I thought he was one of the best players on the pitch. Scored and assisted the rest of the goals. He worked his socks off all game and in the last 15 minutes showed exactly why he is so important to Inter when Balotelli came on for him.

What impresses me most about Milito is his hold up play. It is something you would usually associate with players much bigger and stronger than him but he hardly ever gives the ball away, works the channels brilliantly and has great awareness. That first goal epitomizes what I'm saying.

Brilliant player.

Sadly, it is a definite off-side, atleast from this angle.

There were two interesting calls (wrong) against us where it could had been a one on one with the goalkeeper had the whistle had not been blown.

But for obvious reasons, this is a goal we are talking about.

I am still not sure about the foul on D.Alves as it is very confusing (I have seen it so many times); thus the benefit of doubt.

Wesly's thigh might have sofltly touched Alves. But it was WAY TOO WEAK to be called a penalty. And it WAS SIMULATION, Alves was acting like he'd been shot in the leg.

It's useless to deny things like this. Milito goal was offside, period. But also Alves-Sneijder incident was called right, ref made the absolutely right decision there and Barca people should stop complaining about it.

Agreed with Cafe. It clearly was offside, but I don't think there are enough reasons for Barca fans to complain about the ref.

Would put us 1-0? How can you say Milito would have scored in that half-breakaway (ball wasn't going straight to the box, Milito would have had to round a bit to get into the box). That offside in the first half definitely can't be seen as a sure goal.

I believe the more accurate picture would be one frame earlier. If Milito was still in that position when Sneijder's head was in contact with the ball, then we could say it was offside.

I may be the only one here, but to me it looks like the ball has already left his head...


Anyways, the Bayern goal against Fiorentina was miles offside, at least this one only came down to centimeters. I have always felt, that when it is that close, you always give the advantage to the attacker. That plus the linesman being way out of position and this is what happens.
