WTF happened? I followed till the 80th minute then had to go coach in a semifinal (we won on penalties!), we seemed comfortable, now I check the score and we CONCEDED against Carpi, in extra time???? Jesus. That is the Scudetto truly done and dusted, folks. 3rd place is what we play for now.

Watching Inter week by week slipping further and further down the table is just damn depressing. all our hard work from 2015 just then to lose everything. Well looks like we've done it again, someone's pressed the self-destruct button like what happens in every f**king season after the winter break.

Our last few games go as: L-W-L-D-D

This is crisis now, sack Mancini. Hire Mourinho, I'm done with this clown.

We're not really playing noticeably worse in this stretch than we were earlier in the year. Take away the last minute equalizer and it's pretty similar to the majority of our wins in the first half of the season. Earlier in the year, teams just weren't converting those chances.

This exactly. All our performances this season have been identical (give or take one or two good matches) and now we are only seeing the mediocrity and flaws of our tactics and performances in full. This match should have easily been 3-0, 4-0. How the fuck you go from knocking Napoli 0-2 to conceding in stoppage time to fucking Carpi is beyond me. Nothing has changed from last season, it doesn't matter how many more points we have accumulated in comparison, its the same mediocre crap week in week out. Brave of me to believe during december that we were genuinely a good side again.....brave....but foolish.

Exactly. Our performances in the first half of the season weren't really worthy of 1st place, and now we're seeing things revert to the norm.

(And this is why more than the result matters, for all those who didn't care about anything as long as we were winning)

good perfromance till last min, ridiculous that they ar enot learning from mistakes and just seeing game out by retaining possesion

still one silver lining is that the pressure is on all the strikers, this hopefully lead to a positive effect

Sorry but if Handa wasn't a top GK in insane form we would have lost this game. Especially in the first half where JJ-Muri were "swimming" vs Jerry whatshisname the black dude... I'm not blaming the players much except JJ who is a shit CB,Icardi who is clearly lost but in the end it's down to the coach who makes the choices where to place the players and his man management...yikes
He couldn't command the players to stall in the last minutes?!
We can't play 4-2-3-1 cuz we don't have very good mf's! That is obvious, look at Rube, they always play with 3 mf's,Roma and Napoli also. However they actually have good mf's
The forwards have no instructions, they are on their own...which makes us look clueless in attacking, we are struggling to find a single ball in the net when they play a bunker...We don't have a Ibra or Aguero to do it on his own.
Yao yao what a coach we have...
We were out bullied by a 10 man Carpi at home, new time low...

Strange that we didn't see this game out by maintaining possession & running down the clock, because we've done that well in our one nil victories up to this point. Maybe it was because they were down to ten & we felt an onus to score again for the crowd or that we were too proud & maybe embarrassed by looking to run down the clock against little ten men Carpi. Either way or for whatever reason it should now never happen again. Ironically our much criticised midfield performed best. I was pleased to see Brozovic do well, I've been calling for him to be played as a regista of sorts all week. Melo & Palacio played well too, as did Miranda, the rest were fair to poor. Mancinis subs were daft & needless, but it's caused by his annoyingly incessant tactical tinkering, which is only disrupting whatever little fluidity & understanding we've managed to build during a game. Just fucking pick a formation & a regular starting eleven & stick with it ffs.

New year , but old crazy, crazy Inter. I'm sorry but I don't believe, yet. It's impossible that Inter drew the match against Carpi when miss few minutes to the end of the match, playing 11 counter 10 and with the best goalkeeper of the "Serie A".
Unfortunately, for Inter everything can happpen.

We're turning into a laughing stock. It was quite clear that everything was going to come collapsing considering the way we were scraping wins, but I didn't think it would happen so early.

We are a laughing stock in the last few years, my friend.

Let's all remember how FIF laughed and pointed at 'chockers' Roma for being trashed by Barcelona (like Inter wouldn't be), but our draws against Carpi and losses against Lazio and Atalanta pretty much confirms Inter's choking status. Inter Da Scudetto :awyeah:

Roma deserved both the chokers tag and the laughter, especially when you consider the amount of time, patience, and investments they injected into the club since Pallotta's arrival. When you compare their summer expectations and current situation they come off as an utter disappointment.

We on the other hand started the season with different goals, an overhaul to the first team, and a manager who's indecisive about the starting lineup. Inter's current collapse, aside from the tactical shortcomings and the struggling signings, was an inevitable phase in a typical learning cycle that could have happened at any point of the season.

the more i see perisic, the less i understand why mancini wanted him so bad.

Probably because of his nice athletic body? Mancini even kicked Shaqiri out for him...

- - - Updated - - -

Are we struggling against 10 men Carpi ? :yao:

And we draw @ home against a 10 men Carpi :palm:

- - - Updated - - -

this one is 100% mancini's fault. after more than 20 games, we still can't play a decent football.

+1

not killing off a game will eventually bite you. It was just a matter of time. His attacks are clueless.
