How about fox soccer comentator "what a great player is mauro esposito of cagliari, just can't stop running and he is 34 years old"

and he said that 3 times during the game

ROFL :dielaugh:

I can't believe some of you think Cordoba is left-footed. Have you guys even seen inter play?!!!?! Look at all his clearances, right foot. All his passes, right foot. All his dribbling, right foot.

I find it hard to believe that Cordoba is just using his right foot 90% of the time for the fun of it.

Inter did really well last night..it was very spectatular..Matrix was amazing for not leaving Toni he was like his shaddow in most of the balls..great work, Stanko also did great he wants to score.. he had 3 chances of 100% goals but unfortunately they were lucky.. Adriano? hes great but he now doesnt focus on scoring.. he passes more often even if he has a chance to score!! Adriano we want you to be in top scoring list!!

Cordoba is right footed indeed.

Adriano is in a clear offside position IMO and basically everyone's. :D The first pic clearly shows his position when Martins get the ball to him. The second pic is misleading because that is in a moment where the pass has already been made, and Adriano is behind the defenders.
I don't think this is debatable at all. It's an off-side and too bad.

As for a penalty call against Martins, I don't think it's a penalty at all. It was a superb tackle by Gamberini, and if he wouldn't have taken the ball completely, it would have been a penalty.
Nor do I think Toni deserved a penalty.

Jimmy is right. That was no penalty on Martins. Gamberrini made a very good tackle (even though he had his hands full all game with Oba Oba) and it was a good non-call by the ref.

GRAZIE INTER!! :star:

Have to say that first half, not including the very end, was propably the best Inter I've seen. Everything worked for us, except goal scoring. We came to this match in a way, that stunned Viola for the whole match. They never got over it. Or.. The never got passed Walter Samuel! :star:

An impact Samuel has given to our defence is visible. He absolutely lead his defence from start to finish. Materazzi played disgusting match because his fouls, but from eye of interista he played rock solid. You just didn't get pass of these guys. Materazzi really plays well with Samuel, and that means something. Hazard-Marco hasn't ever been securer than this. Once Viola got their chance and then... Julio Cesar took it very nicely. Our latest brazilian talent has totally took number one place for him. Who would have thought it? Security and reflexes. Great match Julio Cesar!

Like most of you has sayed, mine man of match is also Luis Figo. How many has changed his opinion of him in last week? Many. I didn't like him earlier, when he was in Spain. Now, I can't be without liking him. Not to give all the credit for him - whole midfield rocked entirely. Cuchu made couple of passing errors, though. We cannot afford those against Juve. They'll strike of errors, that is sure.

Adriano - Martins. Hmm. No reason to worry. But like someone said, they make difficult look easy and easy look difficult. Adriano's teamwork has increased so much. That makes him even more valuable. When the thing starts clicking with them, they are instoppable. Let's hope it's alreadt next weekend. Or if not, we always have Il Jardinero. ;)

In the end of the match, I was so pissed of Mancini not using his substitutes. Match slowed down from us already in the quite early in the second half and Mancini didn't use his substitutes. Everything was under control, ten minutes for Recoba and Solari wouldn't have done any harm. I was very confused when changes never came!

Anyway, it's good to go on. Full of confidence.

Is our attack bad? or our defense terrible? NO, everything is ok, so why you guys always blame Mancini not to sub someone? For resting some players? I think Mancini had decided to use the subs in the CL game in middle week, there will be enough time to rest the main players. So, no blame on Mancini.

In terms of overall performance this probably was our best competitive game since the start of the season. The only downside as many would agree is that despite plenty of scoring chances we could not kill of the game. A BIG + to Matrix (though shaky as times) and Samuel for not allowing Toni much space.

J Cesar is really paying back Mancini for having faith in him. He wasn’t called into the action a lot, but the 2 times he was, he did it with great conviction.
I’m glad Deki have again rediscovered his great form again. Figo was on fire last night. Switched between the flanks and did not do much wrong. The build up to his 1-2 with Oba right at the end was worth the ticket alone ;-)

The only criticism I have is in regards to Adri’s last 15-20 minutes. He seemed less interested to be involved, and when he was, he was not sharp enough. Hopefully the lack of goals from his side in recent games is not getting to him again.

Same scenario as last night and we would have drawn the game last season. Luckily we now seem to have improved upon that aspect of our game. It was a must win game to keep up with boring Juve and we did it. :star:

Gentlemen, last night I saw an IMPERIOUS INTER :star: everything went well for us , Fiorentina was totally and utterly dominated by us , the only downside of this match in my humble opinion was our lack of conviction in front of the goal and of course Oba's selfishness that could have cost us a draw, however it was a great show of strength by INTER :strong:

Look at Matrix. :dielaugh:

It was great scene when cameras showed this group and you were able to see Oba making somersaults in a background. Veron hurted his neck when Matrix came. Look at his face above. :p

I've never been so happy for so many weeks continiously. Inter have finally managed to achieve some very good consistent results. I hope the next two matches will be similar. The match against Juventus especially. If we win, then we would be on top of the table, and it would certainly boost our confidence quite a fair bit.

Forza Inter!

Matrix is a clumsy bastard. See him hurt Veron's neck? He's just an all-round clutz.

And yeah, Channel 4 is dumb. Not only that, they are biased against Inter and apologetic for Milan. This was their justification for the tough time Milan had today:

The Rossoneri rested several stars ahead of their Champions League trip to Schalke 04, including Christian Vieri, Marcos Cafu, Kakha Kaladze and Johann Vogel.

Yeah, they had a tough time because they rested Vieri who just can't stop scoring, Kaladze the pillar of the team, and Vogel, the Swiss machine!

That killed me, lmao :D

Matrix is impressing me, I just hope he does well against Juve, which means against world class forwards like Ibra, Trez, etc...

I never saw any team celebrating the goal like we last night, or team that smiles that much during the game, claping the hands, giving high fives... it was just amazing

looking foward to gobbi, our passing will kill them
