45min of decent performance doesn't convince me to speak of a quality midfielder.
Don't get me wrong, I respect him in any way and I hope he'll be of good use as long as he plays for Inter. He played below average in my opinion the last few games but that was to be expected since he had a break because of his injury. Nevertheless, I'm happy seeing him progress in his game.
I just thought it was odd for Strama to point out Deki when speaking of a quality midfield, when Obi and Poli delivered really great performances the last few games.

After we lost Motta, Deki is the only def.mid./central mid. who passes the ball all over the place and not only 2m-5m short passes or direct balls in the depth for Milito (as does almost every one of our midfielders except Poli). Deki played today with instructions as a sort of Pirlo, and until he had it, he did really well. First goal started from him, second one was his invention, and there were a couple of long passes over the whole pitch where I was just

It's true that he cannot do a whole match with this tempo and kudos to Strama for having the balls to substitute him and not Poli (like Ranieri'd do probably). I think it was pretty obvious that after Deki went out, we lost a lot in ball posession and in the construction of offensive actions.

I cannot wait to see what Strama will do with Alvarez, this will be pretty interesting...

I don't see how any of this would contradict my post, but yeah, you're right ;)

Put him on the wing with Milito and Zarate.

I never mentioned Inter winning the next title or the following ones, did I?
Or you're just assuming we're gonna win? :)
There will be major reinforcements in the summer, the only reason you're gonna win this year is because Inter is worse than you are.
You can't compete with a good Inter. We trashed you 4-0 as well :)
Yeah on L30's Season when we were complete crap :palm:
Otherwise we beat you quit alot of times before that ;)

great game, but the scoreline makes the defense look worse than it is

the first goal was pure luck and the first penalty was bullshit imo, the other two penalties were 90% lucio's fault, so i wouldn't worry too much about conceding a lot of goals in the next matches

and credit should go to stramaccioni for his tactics, imo the reason we won was because he never wanted to defend a 1 goal lead like that other guy always did, and the general offensive buildup has improved shitloads in just 1 week

i can't wait to see how the team will improve with this new philosophy and players like guarin and alvarez coming back from injury

Pretty good performance today. We've played much better than I expected, and honestly couldn't imagine nine goals in the game, that was just unpredictable considering that we struggle to score recently and also terrible form in recent games, but this is a surprise for good actually.

Can't complain anything about the game though. Let's keep up the way! :)

Same :(

Too early on a Sunday morning for this guy. Happy we won though. Congrats to Strama on his first professional win as a manager

Zanetti's handball was bogus...Some really shitty defending by Lucio lead to the other two PKs.

Great words man, have to agree with you.

I think when we take off Stankovic, then we have to restructure our game a bit to a more intense running-based style.

But I think having Sneijder back will help to ease that pressure too, but I guess he'll be back at best for the mid-week game next week. If he's part of a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation, he could potentially come collecting the ball from deeper than usual and then spreading it wide...

I cant imagine a good position for Sneijder in a 433. When he's back Strama will probably go to 4-2-3-1

I'm sick of everyone accommodating Sneijder, the big egoist. Sorry, but he is such a selfish brat. A player of his caliber should rule the game anywhere in the middle, and all he does is whine, shoot everything but the ball, and have his lunatic attacks everytime he fucks up... i want him out. I don't care of what he's done for us, i want him out of this club. I was one of his biggest supporters, i have his jersey, but enough is enough.

Either grow up and play like a man and professional, or get out of my team!

Agreed. Sneijder have hardly played the entire season, he is constantly injured, and when he actually do play he is horrible, and you cant blame that 100% on all the players around him.
He shoots whenever he is within 30 yards of the goal much like Zarate has an affinity for, and whenever he fucks up which is about 95% of the time, its either
1. Referee's fault
2. the one he played's fault for not runnig or whatever

Also whenever he loses the ball or not given a freekick for whatever instead of tracking back to get the ball back he whines to the referee and thorws his hand in the air, stops up and look around with an angry face.

Ranieri probably fucked his chances up by trying to accomodate Sneijder in his 4-4-2 or whatever, which evidently didnt work.
I hope we can rob someone of 25 mill for Sneijder and get rid of his wage aswell.

His attitude just doesnt cut it, especially when we're trying to rebuild. if he goes around being pissy about everything that will only hurt the progress and the team.

Whats our new penalties for/against difference? There was a list of that, with penalties the big teams in Italy had for and against in the past few seasons, it showed ruBe got way more penalties for and less against than any other team, and it showed we had the most against and least for (we came out worst by far), also bbilan came out pretty bad.

And after today our score is probably not much better...
