With our without the sponsor I am happy. It makes no difference to me, I buy our shirts to support our club.

I think the sponsor/no sponsor situation is a bit OTT. If our players wear it with the sponsor, why are we to good for it? If you prefer it without, go buy it without.

People who have purchased it and complain after about top should have considered all of this before.
It's not a matter of being too good for it, it's just not to my taste with a sponsor and also not what I ordered. I'll be supporting the club by purchasing the pre-match t-shirt instead, this one is quite nice:

Because they released a jersey, said there's a sponsor at the back, and now they're shipping something else...

I totally understand its preference on how the top looks and if advertised wrongly then I understand completely, of course.

There was no such thing mentioned. Yet this is what happened. They put an item for sale but they're shipping a product that's not the same.
False advertising. That's borderline scam, in the US, a mass lawsuit could have cost Inter over $100m in compensation for this nonsense...

It is the principle for me, I ordered an item that was marketed completely different from what they’re shipping.
But I also refuse to promote socios.com, a symptom of the disease that is eating up football and the world as a whole. A remarkable embarrasement. A depressing sign of desperation.

The most fucked up thing is that they made it appear as if people who got it early would receive it first. The InterClub and SiamoNoi people.

It was exclusive to those for a few days. And now they're delaying shipping.

And we stil don't know what we bought!!

At least this debacle saved me from buying a season ticket... I'll give Cottarelli everything :D

Just got a follow up:

“we inform you that it is not possible to stop the shipping process once the package has already been closed and ready to be dispatched.”

so after threatening to open a trading standards case they just sent back the same message. I’ve challenged them again, saying that if it’s truly packaged up then surely it wouldn’t have an unconfirmed sponsor already pressed on.

I’ll wait till they reply as I’ve challenged my right to a refund. If they refuse that then I’ll have no issues opening up a case against them.

Any chance this is just a huge customer service fuckup and by “main sponsor” they actually mean the Lenovo sponsorship on the back?

I upped the level and engaged in communication in Italian as all English does is receive copy-paste responses.

Saw on Twitter that people got better luck in Italian :D

Lol, I'll just call the delivery company telling them that the product is being refunded so no need to ship it in the first place and simply return to sender.

This is why it agitates me. They are expecting people to not be bothered to ship it back for a refund.

The moronic thing here is that maybe their bad English is calling Lenono "the sponsor". I'm trying to give them a call as well, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't speak Italian. It's not easy to get a hold of these guys haha

Got off the phone with them. Pretty much the same copy pasting from the emails.

Went something along these lines.

Why do you show one product and sell another with a sponsor?
"Of course the Inter shop will sell with the sponsor, only Nike can sell it without"

Why did you start receiving orders earlier if shipping wouldn't commence immediately and pending a change?
"We were merely collecting orders to estimate demand".

I don't want the shirt with the sponsor, so just don't send it, saves everyone the trouble.
"At this stage it cannot be done".

But I don't want it..
"Maybe you will change your mind" (seriously, he said that :D )

I'll ship it right back, this was very unprofessional.
"Either way, it will come to you, you decide what you want to do with it once it arrives".

A few more anecdotes as well. To be honest, the interaction made me less pissed because it makes you realize who you have to deal with :D

I’ve bought mine from the Nike store today so they will 100% be getting my shirt returned.

I’m actually thinking that I might dig out one of the old embroidered scudetto patches and iron it on. I think it would look better on the fan version as everything else is embroidered anyway.

I got an email where they let me cancel, no questions asked. Can't stand bad customer service like this.

I never complain about shit. Bring me the wrong food, I'll freaking eat it.

I didn't even want to get a jersey with the new ass of a logo, but since there was no silly sponsors on I figured it'd be some sort of a reconciliation.

If they had handled it properly I wouldn't have any grievances, but this was beyond pathetic. I could have had a better experience dealing with the Italian public sector...
