Calling Mancini a moron/fuckhead based on a predicted line up
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I am not following the FIF almost at all for a long time now so I don't know if you were reffering to someone else but I will assume you were responding to me and since I've seen your post by glimpsing at a thread I will respond.

What I'd like to say is that I didn't say we will play that during the match. The case I was trying to make is do you think the journalists take those formations out of thin air? No. They either have someone from the inside, or hear something, or watch the training matches from the tallest tree and then they report that which MIGHT eventually become the starting line-up.

The point is that it would seem Mancini is thinking about something like that which knowing his history is not really any shocker to me, or shouldn't be to anyone.

So to sum up, I'm not calling him a moron because he is starting the game tonight with the predicated formation. I'm calling him that (in that instance) because it looks like he is trying that again which I've already seen when he played Veron there.

Well considering every predicted line-up I see is different to the last one, and that so often this season the predicted line-ups have been totally wrong, I don't see how they can be any basis for calling him a moron.

Well for me a 4-4-2 isn't so bad...Perisic get's to play on the left wing, better than AM,
Medel and Melo are not creative forces but Melo isn't a bad passer and crosser.
Guarin on the right wing might do less damage than in the middle.
Now they report that Telles might start in front of JJ!
Mancini is trying to put numbers in to the midfield to counter the 3-5-2
Melo will be the key today I believe
I hope he shows up today because against Samp he was meh...
He should be properly motivated though...for obvious reasons
We shouldn't play a 3 man df because we suck with that tbh...

I don't particularly disagree with any of what you've just written but absolutely NONE of it has any baring on my post that you replied to, which was about ripping into a coach based on a PREDICTED line-up which he hasn't even fielded yet. You can't criticise a coach for a team selection he hasn't even done.

You're a really good poster, one of the best on FIF imo, but like a lot of others you seem to want to vent your hatred of Mancini a lot more than you want to have a proper discussion. Bit of a shame as I'm no Mancini fanboy, as I've repeated many times, but feel the need to defend him as more and more people go way overboard in their assumptions when criticising him.

I get what you're saying and I'm glad you're not taking my post as an attack on you - as that obviously isn't what I intended. I feel the point is fairly moot though. It is 100% unfair to bash someone for something they haven't even done. However, that's only a principle that doesn't work out so black and white in reality. If a notorious thief is accused yet again of burglary, then you have good reason to be suspicious. Of course, fairness demands you wait to find out the truth, because it's correct that just because he may have committed past crimes, doesn't mean he committed this particular crime. But as I mentioned, there's more than enough reason for skepticism there.

You may be right that myself or other posters may go overboard in criticizing him at nothing more than a rumored GdS lineup posted days before the match. Ultimately my point is while I certainly don't want Mancini to disappoint yet again, he's disappointed so many times (including in his previous stint) that I more or less expect it. That's a terrible place to be for the fans. And something that Mancini and Mancini alone is responsible for.

Kondogbia would be so motivated in this match IMO. He wants to prove he's on the same level as Pogba and I could see him playing out of his skin. He's also been a good big game player for Monaco typically. That coupled with the criticism he's received recently, I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't get a chance to prove himself in the Derby of Italy.

i dont know in what universe melo and medel get to play and kdog gets to warm the bench... are we saving him for our real test against palermo?

if i see manaj, palacio or biabia to play and jojo in the bench... lol

why wont allegri go mental like mancio and bench pogba, morata, dybala? why do we always have these player vs manager situations... fuck it..

a kdog benched is a clear sign mancio is panicking lol. another season wasted.

we have zero creativity from the deep. even if we had kdog it would barely make any difference.

We dont need the enemy team do a psychological war with us before the game, we already have Mancini to do that for us. :trollol:

IIRC Kondogbia had a really good match against Arsenal when Monaco won 3-1 (?)

I hope for a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 tonight, with Perisic and Guarin on the wings. And Kondogbia takes place with Melo in the midfield, but if we go for a 3 man midfield I hope Medel joins them.
