Best thing about this match is that we lost.

Actually drawing would be much worse. I'm tired of this team keeping our hopes up with a CL spot. At least in this way we don't make Europa league either and can focus on scudetto next season.

Oh, and by the way, everyone... Apparently KevinB couldn't watch the game because he is in India. He just thought he'd let everyone know he is in India and couldn't watch the game because he is in India.

That explains his crush on Indian pussies then..

Yeah I didn't totally hate the way we played. We had our chances and we looked like a respectable footballing club at some points. We had a clear penalty that wasn't given. I think the fair result would have been a draw tbh. Strama won't get fired for this one so don't get your hopes up.

+1

A draw would have been fair tbh. Not too disappointed. Don't wanna get strung up over a could've/should've/would've been penalty.

Cassano showed alot of passion and was actually quite good for me. Kovacic showed some great drive in the second half.

Damn it. I don't think we deserved to lose this one.

Chivu looked terrible out there, and is responsible for letting that second Jube goal just slide right by him; it looked like it was intentional since he thought it went out prior to the pass, which is inexcusable. The first goal was very hard to stop, seems like Quagliarella has a penchant for goals like that.

On the other hand, Kovacic looked great out there, and was involved in our only goal. Some of us had been speculating that he would do well going forward (like he does with his national team), and he showed that indeed he can.

Rizzoli performed up to my expectations, in that there were plenty of cards given, mostly to us, even when there were several instances where a Jube player should have gotten one (esp. for being too close to a free kick). There were also the obligatory controversial calls where we deserved a penalty chance (most clearly on Kovacic, possibly also a tackle on Cassano).

Strama, whom I have defended here somewhat frequently, made what looked to be a number of mistakes. We've been playing a back four much more often lately, and he starts with the three man defense in this match? Why? Because that's how we beat them the first time? I have no idea, but that was the first mistake. Then he plays Chivu, which always has me worrying (and rightly so for this game). I also think playing Alvarez was a questionable move, as he was slow out there and didn't really create or threaten much. Pereira was an interesting choice, and he wasn't all that bad today, although he didn't cross well, as we have come to expect from him. Then Rocchi? I expect Strama to stay for the rest of the season at least, but today was a little questionable tactically.

At the end of the day, though, our season against Juventus has not been a disgrace, considering the streak we broke earlier this season.

I can somehow look pass the first penalty, the handball from bonucci... But the tackle of chiellini over Kova, was pure penalty, he clearly tackled his leg, and then the ball bounced, i cant understand how the ref didnt call that a penalty.

Nonsense.

Chiellini's tackle was perfect, that was in no way a penalty. The only legit penalty shout we had was Cheillini's no look backwards kick at Cassano.

Yeah, Bonucci's handball wasn't really a penalty, just as Zanetti's handball wasn't penalty.

Should go on the 1mg's if your sick tbh... You get fuck all out of them, but eases the desire of sticking something in your mouth and sucking on it.

Moratti on his mobile during the break... I think he left his cigarettes at home and called his son to bring them to the stadium

Cutting costs so much he can't even go buy another pack.

Then Rocchi? I expect Strama to stay for the rest of the season at least, but today was a little questionable tactically.

What else could he have done? Rocchi was clearly a chance but he was the best pick considering the other options on the bench.

As said before I don't like the three-man defence since we either are giving to much space away in the central defence when the two outside CD's move out or we don't have any offense since our two wingers works like wingbacks. This plus the material we have (old players and average players like Chivu and Pereira) does not help at all.
