Many things to improve but also important things where we improved. Some times it seems like we can dominate the game and keep calm (like the last 30 min where we defended the result without conceding much and trying to score another goal) but there was also some moments where we did nothing and gave Lazio too much space. But we still deserved the win at the end, a close win is a fair result.

Btw. Sanchez was good. Im not sure if he can play as striker but you can clearly see how much experience and class he still has. Could get important for this team!

Positive debut by Biraghi.
Like Brehme said I hope conte tries Biraghi as LWB and asa as a left mid when ever Sensi is rested.

Vecino is TRASH. He didn’t do 1 thing right.
Barella was great and he got better on the second half once Sensi came on.

I hope we can keep on going like this and once January comes be right there at the top and push for a good midfielder.

I can see two problems: 1. The overall technical level of the team isn't that great, which is the reason why we convert only a fraction of what we create (particularly our forwards, while the starting midfielders are overall more technically gifted); 2. We only have 3, maybe 4 good subs.

If we want to fight for the title till the end, we need ausilio and Marotta to bring in something substantial in January.

It's not a hate but it's getting annoying watch him to shoot from almost everywhere. In above mentioned occasion he had a option to pass to Snachez (not sure he was offside or not) but he ignored it. He puts scoring of goals of his own above the team's sake and i dislike it.

I actually think our offensive mechanisms need a lot more work then defense.

There's not much more that can be done. It's up to individual quality more than anything. The wing backs are doing their job, the midfield is pushing the ball up. The main problem offensively, to put it leniently, is that Lukaku is not well adjusted to Serie A defences and Politano is quite soft.

Our defence on the other hand is leaking despite being made of 3 top 10-15CBs in the world and gladly our elite level GK closed shop and didn't let one in. Our wing backs and center defenders do not coordinate well and our midfield is just an inactive layer in front of them.

this isnt a season we win the league in, most likely. barring extraordinary fluke.

this is a season for building foundations. We've got a great spine in Godin, De Vrij, Skriniar, Sensi, Barella. The team will need more tweaks next summer...

Think of this as Mourinho's 08/09 season.
