They combined to score against us for Lazio in Olimpico this season.

Yep. I'm more of a small forward. The one playing behind the main target man, cause I'm pretty small. But I'm quick, so I usually get the rebounds. My bro is a defender. Sometimes he plays too hard. With all the tackles and stuff. But he's good.

I'm following scores of 20 games at the moment.
All the EPL and Serie A games.

I'm watching 3 games (flicking from channel to channel)
Fulham - Norwich
Juve - Parma
Southampton - Man U

I'm listening to radio for one game (Inter-Livorno)

:D

I'm also trying to study for an exam! :depress:

2' Incredible run by Il Capitano. J.Zanetti takes on three Livorno players in a 50-yard run down the right and the Meazza applauds.

what a legend :proud:

they crack me up. :dielaugh: I remember seeing them in the last Roma derby with their ruthless tackles. I hope to see more of the same tonight when I see the delayed broadcast! :p

I hate those brothers like hell ... do they even know how to play football, without making fouls ??

41' Veron is applauded as he makes way for Giorgos Karagounis.

nice sub by mancini ... gives Kara what he deserves and gives a good 5-10 minutes for Stan in the center

finito.

1-0

another 3 pts... another victory, another good team performance.

3rd place is now guaranteed 10000000000000%.

we can look forward to winning the CI now and look forward to continuing this good form next season.

:inter:

in other news.. I have some bad news.. Chivu was substituted after 32 mins in the Roma derby - obviously due to an injury. :scared:

Another clean sheet! :star: It is incredible how contrasting we have been this year compared to the last. Even when we are playing against a side who has scored 7 goals in the last 2 games, even when we are using the gruesome twosome of Matrix - Miha, even when the Minister of Defence is not used, we still manage to keep a clean sheet!:star: Mancini, what have you been feeding to the team? :D

It'll be interesting to see Veron get an injury. Before all of you jump on me, I was just wondering how will Mancini play Inter out if his only playmaker is injured. Will it mean the awesome twosome of Cambiasso - Cristiano again? Or will he play Deki on the middle?

Mancini is obviously utterly dependant on Veron as Veron has played almost 2 full games in the space of 48 hours. Will he play the full 90 minutes again against Cagliari? I'm worried that Veron may be forced to play through an injury and thus it may affect his performance. After all, Veron has endured a torrid time with injuries before coming here.

Well, let's hope that Mr. Left Handed has something up his sleeve.

Crap. Mihajlovic and Materazzi in central defence again? That's it, we're going to concede at least one goal.

:p

Incredible, yet another clean sheet, the 3rd consecutive, the 6th in the last 7. 7 wins in the last 8. 3rd spot clinched mathematically, we can now concentrate on the Coppa Italia. Let's hear some praising for Mancini guys! :proud:

There was bad news for Roma when Cristian Chivu limped off with an injury and made way for Matteo Ferrari. The problem occurred when Chivu and goalkeeper Gianluca Curci clashed in a bid to close down Tommaso Rocchi.

its just an unlucky knock .. ppl say he is injury prone, i don't remember him havin injury problems before this year. Plus look at Ronaldo he had three years of problems but he has been in good shape since then ... injuries are about bad luck thats all !

yep another clean sheet ... impressed

well that's a relief about Chivu.

though about Ronaldo... I'll admit he's still a great player but he's not in good shape. He's fat. :D

I didn't see the game, but credit to all the players and to Mancini. We may not agree with some of his decision, but let's hope he gets whom he wants next year and we only have a team of those he wants.

I am really impressed by our defence as of late. I am really puzzled by the sudden awesome defensive play. All that without changing our offensive scheme. Imagine us continuing this recent rate of few goals allowed, while scoring more next year. That's a very pleasant thing to look forward to.

Adriano - #10
I'm satisfied with the 1-0 victory since it clinched the third spot and a CL spot for us next year and it's time to focus 99% on the Coppa Italia. We must win, and I have a feeling that we will. Credit to the defence for the clean sheet and hopefully with a few changes the D for next year will be even stronger and more impenetrable.
