I'm surprised so many want to see Kuzmanovic over Kovacic. Kovacic is our future and will have a huge say in whether our club succeeds going forward and therefore he needs to be exposed to these types of games as soon as possible. Plus it's not like he hasn't provided two assists in his first four games.


And please, can we not play Chivu. He's not a solid defender and hasn't been for a long time.

Irrelevant. Kuzmanovic is 25 and has years ahead of him. Kovacic is 18 and this game may be too soon for him. if your reason for starting Kovacic is because he is "our future", that is ridiculous. I would not expect Strama to throw an 18 year old in the deep end. He has a lot to learn and I think he was exposed badly against Fiorentina. As much of an exciting talent he is, I reckon he should start from the bench this match.
