I hope strama doesnt play Kova and Kuzman together from the start of the game , on of them tbh should be bench because having Kuzman and Kovacic in midfield we create space for BBilan in midfield, in this case Gargano is the best, he can cover all over the midfield together with Cambiasso and Kova to spread balls from middle.

I'm not that worried about the midfield. It's the attack that worries me. If we win back possession we'll have no one really to aim for, to make space. I can see terrible long balls just being intercepted foolishly. Or winning the ball and then getting swarmed because there will be no outlets.

Also when we are defending because we have no threat to the centre backs Milan will push like Fiorentina and their wing backs can just get forward because there will be no one to pressure their back line and make them think.

Palacio and Cassano are good but they are always outside of the danger zone, coming deep to collect the ball, we cannot launch any counter attacks this way. We have to play pure possession football to win, and play good balls, and we are not a possession team.

I'd start that formation as well. I wouldn't start Naga but I don't mind if he does. However if Guarin puts in a performance like the first half at Fiorentina. Which was abysmal, petulant and embarrassing he should be subbed even before half time and Kuzman should come on.

Gargano and Cambiasso next to Kovacic to relieve him from defensive duties, Guarin should be pressing Montolivo to prevent him from distributing play for Milan. If he succeeds in doing this, he could be deadly, like against Juve, picking up the ball from Milans midfielders and projecting himself in attack with that incredible pace and strength of his.

Palacio should try to run in spaces behind Mexes and Zapata, they are very bad at preventing opposite attackers from sneaking behind them, which is Rodrigo's strength.

I really think that this formation could work pretty well.

Regarding both clubs' matches in midweek, it's prob. a bigger disadvantage for us to play tomorrow at Cluj, even if we play with a couple of dozen rotation players. Who knows, perhaps we'll play in overtime.

In the last game our midfield looks slow as hell with Cuchu and Kuz together, I would start Gargano over one of them, preferably Kuz.

Where is the original source of this rumor? I've looked at Italian press and nothing like that is mentioned, nothing on tv I've seen, I've been in Milano since yesterday and people don't seem too concerned think someone is just trolling.
