6 points against Milan, 0 against Novara.
beat Udinese but then fail with Parma... probably took them for granted/underestimated them...

This perfectly shows that: " It's only in your mind ". - Players' mind! They lacked motivation after winning the TREBLE... they relaxed... I'm talking about Maicon, Cambiasso, Sneijder... but when they really want it, then can do it!

Boy this is going to be an INTEResting summer!

PS: I need to download this game @ HQ and archive it :D

thank you :)

when does serie A starts?

Probably August 26th or September 2nd .. Lets also hope we wont get another player strike .. that was excruciating last year.

Which also means we wont have another Inter match after the Lazio game for another 3 maybe 3 and a half months, time to spam F5 on fcinternews everyday for rumours and updates on the team..

Just look at Sneijder on the left bottom of the screen when we get a penalty for the hands ball, around 1.17 in the video... The man is really back with us, his motivation is back, his heart is with the team again... And gone is his frustrated, annoying behaviour.

Welcome back, Wes :D

Andrea Stramaccioni said:
MILAN - "I don't know if I'm a man for the derby but we won. That I do know..." Andrea Stramaccioni can smile at the end of his first derby as Inter's first-team coach. He explained to Sky Sport Italia: "For us this game was important and spectacular. The first half was perfect, and then there were a few incidents. There was bitterness after the penalty awarded to AC Milan, but I had to set the players back on the winning path that we had started on. The team showed a great reaction after Ibrahimovic's goal. We can talk about things that didn't go well, like the three-minute spell in Parma, but I want to look at the positive side. Since I've been here we've earned more points than AC Milan. The comments by president Moratti? I'm happy to hear them but I'm sorry – as an Interista – that no one points out that the president's ideas and plans are very clear. They go beyond this one match and don't depend on whether I'm here or not."

The interviews continued and Stramaccioni then spoke to Mediaset: "It was a beautiful game, played without calculations. And in the end, overall, I believe that Inter deserved the victory. The president has a clear plan in mind. As Inter supporters, seeing those images of Juve's victory makes us even angrier and hungrier for the next season." The coach then continued his analysis of the match, stressing that "in the most difficult moment Pazzini gave us a big hand in turning the match around. I calmed the players down at the end of the first half, that's true. We had played at least 35 perfect minutes, so we had to get back on the right path, playing our game. It was also probably for this reason that we reacted after Ibra's goal, without giving up even when it was at 3-2. Then we went on to score a fantastic goal through Maicon. Inter played for Inter."

The coach then spoke to Rai, explaining "just how lovely it is to win a match like this. At halftime I tried to look at things in a different way to the players. I tried to transmit calm because Ibra's penalty had thrown us off our balance a bit. A win in the derby has a different flavour. We realise that a third-place finish is very difficult but we're not making calculations. We're going to Rome to win the game and then we'll see where we are. Seeing Juve celebrate charges us up to build a great Inter. Moratti's ideas about this are clear."

Then during the press conference Stramaccioni sent out a special thanks to the Nerazzurri fans: "They were fantastic. And if we consider that overall this was a negative season for Inter then it makes it even more important. It makes you understand just how strong and important the Nerazzurri support is. It's something powerful…" said the coach smiling.
YOU are something powerful... Gotta love it when he says 'as an Interista' :D

Juventus drew. We lost. Milan is in over drive for that title.

We are going to be slaughtered.

Love the article, but I am a little confused......the part where he says MM has a clear idea on the project with or without me. Do you think he already knows his fate?

All I know is this guy has given us a reason to hope again and if we don't sign him up then our management would be mad.

Haven't watched the match but great result for us and very happy with the win. Will watch it tonight. So did we perform exceptionally well or BBilan was a no-show?

Did you notice how JC runs all the way to Milan side of the pitch to congratulate Maicon.

Man, today JC was amazing. I think because it was his 300th match and it was a derby he really wanted to win it.

I'm happy for him.

actually i fell asleep in 10.00 PM...
but in my sleep, i dreamt inter beat Bilan 3-1 and Il capitano score twice from free kick... :awyeah:
i was so excited and then i woke up. I looked at the clock and it showed already +/- 3.00 am.
I Turned on Tv and looked the score 2-0. I was so excited but when i looked closer, it was 2-2 :palm:
just a moment later we got PK and Principe scored a hat-trick... :pazzini:

my heart beat so fast when Bilan attacking us but then i got soo excited when maicon scores... beautiful goal... Bilan's defender was so retarded for letting maicon had a comfortable space to shoot. :awyeah:

great match.. i love to see our man back to their performance and gain their spirits back....

and for me seeing that match is making assperini and ruineri look like a retarded. :eek:blivious:

Forza Inter.. FOrza stramaccioni ;)

I didn't have the opportunity to see the game today live so I evaded very successfully everything that could show me the result until I got home. Downloaded the full game and watched it, finished about 5min ago.:D

WOW a classic derby. Fucking up Milan so sweetly in such a crucial game with all those ref mistakes! I sweated like a pig literally while watching even if I knew it was over. I even thought we lost it once Ibra got that goal at the start of second half. And what a goal from Maicon to seal the deal at the end!

Bravo Strama and I hope he stays! Brilliant game! Also a class move to give Cordoba few minutes in his last derby.

Simply brilliant! :slick:

So happy right now.
