0-0 is a good result for us, I would take that before the start of the game, even though we could´ve gotten more out of it.
I can´t understand the Eder substitution. Our team looked absolutely lost after that. Why bring Eder on? Even if it was injury related and Rafinha had to be taken out, why not Valero? What did Spaletti hope Eder would accomplish there? He can´t pass, can´t even take a proper first touch, only thing he can do is shoot from distance, which is kinda hard when he can´t get into any space or control the fucking ball. Spaletti had to waste a sub just fixing his mistake and only after Valero was introduced we looked like an actual football team again.
And then Spaletti waited until the 85-ish minute to sub in Karamoh, who had no time to do anything and still looked twice as dangerous as Perisic. Another thing I don´t understand.
Spaletti really shat the bed, our team didn´t look as bad as in the other games until the first sub, I wonder what we could have done if it was Valero or Vecino or Karamoh or anybody, even taking Maicon from the stands and subbing him on would have made more difference than that diving cunt.
Still a good result, we still have a really good record against the top six sides and that could help us a lot in the end. Let´s beat Sampdoria!

How many more times are Candreva and Perisic going to start? Just how many? Is there a secret clause for number of starting games per season in their contracts? If I didn't know any better I would say that Spalletti is sabotaging himself. This is incredibly frustrating and I can't even put it in words well enough to paint the picture.
As far as Karamoh goes, this is literally the worst way to utilize him and the best way to shatter his confidence. Kid is watching the game from the sidelines, he isn't dumb and he sees what's going wrong. Then you put him in at 85th minute and he feels all the weight of the world on his shoulders, he tries too hard and doesn't have enough time to even get his kit dirty.
Borja had very little to do to warrant any sort of a comment. That one push on the left flank was nice.
Eder... Eder is making Candreva appear tolerable because a spectator can only afford to get so annoyed before just shutting down.

i would not say Candreva is poor but Perisic is. while Eder is plain rubbish tonight.
i think we have decent game. credit to Spalletti who shows fearless and balanced approach. we dont fall under pressure easily.

Eder substituion and going with Candreva as a winger was what cost us the game. This was winnable. I was also disappointed in Icardi. It is now even more clear that our priority should be a left winger. Great job in defense. MOTM Skriniar.

We looked better since our central midfield pairing are not disastrous for once. I hope this is not a one-off and Spalletti will field them together again in the next fixture. I've seen enough of Brozovic to not trust him to perform well 2 weeks in a row, but after like, what, 15 games, they are the only functional duo so far.
